Even as a child watching the old black and white serials (Great Caesar's Ghost!) I always thought the people Clark Kent worked with (and everyone else on the planet for that matter) were just plain stupid. If I, being a child, could tell Superman and Kent were the same guy then it made sense that they should be able to too. Dumb.
So it got me to thinking about how the comics have always demanded that we agree that a pair of glasses is a strong disguise... and if that's the case, removing them, for any reason, would bring the whole thing crashing down. Dumb.
