Me and Eres learned quite a lot of each other while there: she worked for Dragon-Fang, and had some this very beautiful comic about a princess learning how to use her unearthly magic powers to save the world. I told her about my comic that was about 3-4 friends getting into very funny and sometimes violent situations. Eres at first seemed not too interested, but eventually started drawing my characters too.. (for fun and giving them cameos in her comic series) 

We did art challenges, worked on and helped with each others' passion projects and entered contests as her device had better WiFi connection (mines were low-end, but Eres kept up both of our online presences) ..I did try to contact my family once; but received no answer; I feared the worse but I looked at the forum we used often: my siblings were very much still alive then, but ignoring me. And so I stopped that and moved on completely; no longer did I think back or even let my thoughts drift into the past..my future was beside me; and she even enjoyed what simply seeing me get up the mornings..

But one disturbing day; we were watching the news during dinner time. (Everybody was forced to eat dinner @5:00-6:00 o clock, and had to wait until tomorrow if they refused that dinner or missed it.) The widescreen tv was on too at this time, and we could only watch the News Report:

There was a vaccine that was administered via a chip, the thing would then release something inside of you to compress the virus. Eres was creeped out at this "That sounds like something from a sci-fi horror movie or something.." she tells me with a nervous laugh "I hope they don't do that here.. Can you imagine something metal just hanging out in your body?". I agreed with her; what vaccine has to be in the form of a microchip? We both agreed on this thing completely…
