I transformed into a fox and started sprinting through the nighttime forest, straight towards the town. I couldn't use the warp gate by myself, as I wasn't a real guardian yet. So I decided to run there. It didn't look too far away, so I thought I would be able make it by foot. Or rather by paw.

Plus, I would be in fox form, so no one would be able to notice me. I ran as fast as my four legs could carry me. Since I was a fox, I was able to see where I going through the darkness. I quickly ran through the black tainted woods. I didn't even stop to take a break, I didn't want to waste one second. 

I panted like a dog as I continued moving across the thick grass. My heart wouldn't stop pounding, but I used that adrenaline to push myself forward. I knew I just had to get there as soon as possible. I had to know for sure if my friends were okay. It was a risk I was willing to take.

When I finally reached the town, my eyes widened in shock and my ears drooped in fear. I could see that the bug monsters were the size of helicopters and they had already demolished a quarter of the town already. I trembled in terror at their  horrific appearances and the awful damage they had inflicted.

"Oh no! This is awful! I hope no one got hurt!". I feared.

I then gasped as I saw some of the bugs zip by. They appeared to be fighting against the guardians. Not wanting to be seen by either of them, I swiftly ducked and hid behind nearby debris and objects. It was horrendous to see such hideous monsters up-close, but the thing scared me more this time...was the fact that the guardians were starting to feel overwhelmed. I could tell by the exhaustion in their faces and bodies. I hid under a car, as I stared at the scene in anxiety. 

"Come on guys! Beat them!" I pleaded.

"DAMMIT! There's too many of them!" Lupus called out, as they continued to fight off the bugs.

"DON'T GIVE UP!" Leo roared. "We must wipe them all out!"

What now?! It was hard to deny the fact that they were clearly struggling, but what was I to do?! I couldn't watch them carry on like this! They could get seriously injured or worse! I had to do something! 

'Think!.....THINK!.............. WAIT!'

I instantaneously thought of something! From the way I analysed these moth monsters, they seem to act like normal bugs. Then realised if these creatures were attracted to a bright light or flame, maybe they could all be lured into one place to be destroyed! But how?

At that instant, I noticed a ferocious looking moth heading straight for Leo, who was busy dealing with another moth. He was so busy concentrating on that one, that he didn't notice the other one coming for him. The others didn't see either since they were dealing with moths of their own. It would be on him in seconds!

Suddenly, something inside of be just burst, like a grenade had exploded in my chest. Acting impulsively, I ran out, changed back to a human and screamed at the top of my lungs. 

"LEEEEOOOO!!!! LOOK OUT!!!!"

As soon as Leo finished off the moth he was dealing with, his Lion ears picked up my call. He turned to see the other moth almost upon him. His eyes widened. It was too close! He wouldn't be able to react in time! But before he could do anything, the bug was suddenly blasted to smithereens by a huge flame. He looked to see what the source was and couldn't believe his eyes. 

Not long after I called out to him, my instincts took over me. The fear and fury I had inside me combined into one huge surge of emotion. I quickly focused all of my energy from my mind and body, to my arms and then to my hands. All I could think about was protecting him and before I knew it, I had blasted out a giant ball of fire right out from my palms. Like an amplified flamethrower, it was much more intense than all the times I had tried using my power before. When everything had cleared, I caught my breath and looked down at my hands. 

'Did I really just do that?!'

"SAKURA!" 

The second I heard my name, I was instantly brought back to reality. I looked to see Leo appearing unharmed, thank goodness! But he was now staring at me with an aggravated look on his face.

"What do you think you're doing here?!" He demanded.

"I'M SORRY!" I shouted out. "I know you told me to stay at the shrine, but I was so worried about you! I just had to come and see if you were alright!"

"YOU SHOULDN'T BE OUT HERE!" He thundered. "Can't you see it's way too dangerous for you to be here?!!!" He gestured to the situation happening around us.

"I'M AWARE OF THAT!" I yelled back. "I know I have yet to become a full guardian and I still have much to learn. But I can't bear to watch you get hurt! You're my friends!" My eyes started to water a little. 

"If I didn't help protect my friends....What kind of ally would I be?!" My voice wavered slightly.

Leo's glare lessened for a moment. I clenched my fists and looked down in order to prevent myself from bursting into tears. For now, I felt like had to ignore his words.

"Whenever I see someone in trouble....or needing help, I can't just sit back and do nothing! I know what it's like to feel vulnerable and helpless. When I see others in that position, I can't stand it! I'm sick of not being able to do anything! So I want to become strong just like you and everyone else! So I can keep people from feeling weak, like how I used to feel!" I continued emotionally.

I was desperately trying to fight back my tears. Leo was surprised to hear me saying all these words at once. From the way I behaved, he could tell how serious I was being. I looked back up at him with a determined expression, a couple of small tears managed to escape my eyes. In that moment, I had forgotten all about what was happening around me.

"You asked me what makes me wanna push myself and why I want to be a guardian....well now I do! I wanna protect my loved ones and the people most precious to me!" I declared.

Unbeknownst to me, the constellation mark on my arm started to light up. 

 "Sakura...." Leo spoke. That was the only thing he could say at that minute.

"I finally found true friends who mean so much to me!" I expressed emotionally. The more I spoke from my heart, the more my body slowly began to glow brighter. "You have all done so much to help me!" I could feel the confidence rising up inside me, like my soul has been set on fire.

 "So now let me help you.....WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE!" 

As soon as I finished that sentence, there was a burst of light and my entire figure was illuminated in a blinding, blazing, aura of fire. Leo shielded his eyes from the intense brightness and everyone else nearby, even the monsters paused what they were doing and gazed at me in shock and awe.

It was like my mind and body had been taken over. Without thinking, I said the following phrase the guardians called out whenever they were about to transform:

"CONSTELLATION! TRANSFORMATION!!!" 

I was surrounded  by a background of pink and orange stardust. I confidently raised my arm up and a fox shaped silhouette emerged from my hand. It then surrounded me and transformed into a light, enveloping my whole figure in a silhouette of orange light. When the light disappeared I had completely changed into something else. Pink and orange flames danced around me as I struck a pose.

"The CELESTIAL FOX!......VULPECULA!!!" I announced confidently.

When my thoughts returned to me, I suddenly became aware of my surroundings again. 

'What just happened?' I wondered in bewilderment.

Then I looked down at myself and I was completed stunned. My clothes had transformed into a beautiful sparkling outfit. It was fiery orange and blossom pink. It was very similar to a ribbon dancer outfit with a big big bow on the back. I also had an orange eye mask, fingerless gloves and I bared the Celestial insignia on my chest, same as the other guardians. On top of that, I had fox ears and a big fluffy tail, just like I did in my animal form. All the guardians had their animal parts in their celestial forms too. When I put all these pieces together, I knew this only meant one thing...... I'd finally done it! I HAD LITERALLY TRANSFORMED INTO A CELESTIAL GUARDIAN!                     

"Wooaaahhh...." I breathed as I admired my brand new look.

I had to stop marvelling at myself when I realised Leo and some of the others were staring at me the entire time, looking quite flabbergasted. I gasped in comprehension and I ran towards Leo, who was still a little bewildered. 

"LEO! I think I know how beat them!" I exclaimed in determination. Leo was suddenly brought back to his senses.

"What?!" He spoke with surprise. 

"I have an idea on how we can defeat these giant bugs!" I responded with tenacity. Leo stared at me for a second, before putting on a determined face. "What's your plan?" He was clearly ready to listen, which made me smile inside. 

"We need to lure all them all at once into one spot, that way we can kill them altogether at one time!" I told him clearly.

Leo nodded understandingly. "Right." He then put his index and middle finger to the side of his head to activate the Celestial link. (This was a telepathic way for the guardians to communicate with each other, whenever they were long distances apart. Which was indeed very handy.) 

"Everyone regroup!" He ordered. "Vulpecula has a plan!" The others didn't understand what he meant, but they showed no hesitation and obeyed him.

Seconds later, all of us met up together in the same spot. The others were all shocked by the sight of me, especially Lepus. 

"WOAH! Sakura is that you?!" He gaped at me in amazement.

"Call me Vulpecula!" I responded. "Quickly! We need to act now!"

"Everyone hear her out!" Leo commanded. The others stopped gazing at me and readied themselves to hear put my plan.................

Once I had finished explaining it, everyone nodded in understanding.

"But how are we gonna lure them all at once?!" Lepus questioned. That's when I gave him a smile.

 "Leave that to me!" I replied with confidence. What I did next was also by magic instinct. From my power, I summoned a magic ribbon wand out of thin air, just like how the guardians would summon their weapons. Only this was no ordinary ribbon wand, it had a ribbon made of fire! 

Next, I started jumping up to the tallest looking buildings. With my new form, I could move more swiftly and jump much higher. It was incredible! 

Then when I reached the top, I got into a starting pose. I took a deep breath and announced: "FOX FIRE RIBBON DANCE!"

Remembered the music from my memories and played it in my mind. I began letting my body move with it and I once I really got into the zone, I started to dance around more vibrantly. I expertly waved the ribbon of fire around me, letting a trail of bright glowing embers flow. With it I began drawing shapes of fire all around me. Every one of the bugs stopped whatever they were doing and as soon as they took sight of me, they instantly began to fly towards me. Literally moths to a flame, they were drawn to me like a magnet.

I felt the power flowing through me, it was like I had become one with the magic and flames. Now I literally WAS on fire! Although I could feel the heat of the flames, it wasn't burning me. The flames flickered right off of me as I danced across the rooftops. I had never felt so alive!

The guardians were dazzled by my performance too! They watched in astonishment, as my hypnotic dance of fire continued to induce the bugs.

"Look! It's working!" Pisces pointed at me.

"She's actually luring them in!" Lynx grinned.

"Isn't it magnificent?!" Hydra complimented.

"YEAH! YOU GO FOXY GIRL!" Lepus cheered loudly.

"COME ON GUARDIANS! Now's our chance to attack!" Leo shouted out. He activated his celestial link to me. "VULPECULA! Keep drawing them in! Whatever you do, don't stop!" 

"You got it!"I replied back as I kept up my performance.

While the bugs were focused on me, the Guardians all charged forward towards the distracted swarm. They all readies themselves to use their powers and attacks to take on the bugs at once. 

"LET'S GO!" Leo roared as he drew out his lighting infused weaponsto storm his way through the swarm. "CRIMSON THUNDER! LION CLAW LIGHTNING SLASH!"

"LET'S SWAT THESE BUGS!" Taurus hollered. "TOWERING TAURUS SMASH!" Taurus used his war hammer to smash and bash them!

"As much as I hate bugs!..." Hydra shuddered. "I'll gladly help assist our little vixen!" Hydra declared. He made giant snakes out out thick green mist to attack the bugs.  "MIST MAMBA SNAKE ATTACK!"

"Let's see you bugs try to dodge this! LEPUS LIGHTSPEED KICK!" Lepus grinned as he used his speed to ricochet himself off some bugs, while destroying them in his trail.

Ursa created a giant bear out of earth. "ROARING ROCK BEAR CLAW!" She boomed, as she made the giant bear swing it's paw to strike the bugs.

Lupus swiftly sliced them with his daggers. "MOONLIGHT FANG! SAVAGE BLADE!"

Lynx used her sneak attacks to get close to the bugs and trap them with her whip. "LYNX STEALTH STRIKE!"

"PIERCING ARROW AIR STRIKE!" Aquila swiftly fired powerful air arrows through them. 

"BELLOWING BLIZZARD! WINGS OF ICE!" Cygnus waved her fans creating a strong gust of icy wind, as she froze them solid . "CORVUS!" She then called out to the black winged guardian. 

"UNDERSTOOD!" He replied with assurance. "MIDNIGHT SLASH!" Corvus shouted out as sliced the frozen ones up with his darkness infused scythe. 

Aries grew large flytrap-like flowers to trap the bugs. "VENUS SNAPDRAGON SNARE!"

"WATER PRISON!" Pisces bellowed as he trapped them in large bubbles of water, drowning them. Now the celestial guardians had the upper hand! The bugs were now dropping like giant flies! Thanks to my strategy, they were able to exterminate them all within minutes.

When it looked like all the bugs had been taken care, I finally stopped my dancing. Luckily while I was dancing I was able to watch the whole thing. Their attacks were truly incredible. I kinda wanted to land a hit on them myself, but I was happy enough that I managed to help the guardians defeat them.

Aquilla wiped his brow with his wrist. "Phew! I think we just about got em all." he stated.

"Yeah that's what I'm talking about!" Ursa cheered as she punched the air a little. "TAKE THAT BUG BRAINS!"

But before I could join them so we could start celebrating, Lepus' eyes widened in fear. "Err guys.... looks like there's still one left." he whimpered, as pointed to what was behind them.

They all turned to see a bug, five times bigger than all the others. On top its loud buzzing, it let out a horrible screeching noise that echoed across the town.

"AWW COME ON!" Taurus groaned in frustration. "How many of these damm bugs are there?!" They had almost used up all their power. But luckily, Leo knew just what to do.

"Guys! There's only only one thing left for us to do." Leo stared knowingly at the others. They were immediately thinking what he was thinking. For you see, they still had their secret weapon........
