Tarun's film is also screened at multiple film festivals across the globe, while Ankit's film finds better appreciation on OTT. However, many still refuse to believe the film to be an original work and post comments insulting him on social media. This saddens Ankit, who begins to question if the industry actually has any place left for originality, if remakes and biopics were to be sidelined for once.
Still, the curiosity to find out if he was the one Tarun targeted with his film, Ankit meets him at the construction site and offers to pay him in exchange for knowing the secret. However, Tarun politely refuses the offer and reinstates he would reveal the secret only moments before his demise. Tarun also states if Ankit or any other person is curious to find out the truth, they have to attempt his murder first and force him to spill the beans. That is the only way to make him disclose the secret. Ankit angrily calls him a madman for thinking like this, to which Tarun responds with a smile, telling him he is only half a madman since remaking his own debut film was somewhat an act of madness, but adding his own touch of originality to it diluted that madness.
Tarun's film earns greater success with every passing day. However, its HD print drops on the internet without any official announcement, leading many viewers online to wonder if it is a pirated version. As this is brought to his notice, Tarun himself is puzzled. He doesn't know who did it and becomes curious for answers. He partners with the police to take down the print and find out the culprit in vain. Torrent sites begin circulating the print with subtitles, endangering the remaining theatrical run further. Tarun soon receives a letter threatening him the sequel would similarly be pirated and leaked before its official release, in a high quality, if he decides to release it.
