I'm absolutely hooked! The world you're building up is as gently dark as it is mysterious, and it really hearkens back to a lot of elements of cosmic horror that are always fun. Emile and Everett's dynamic is especially fun to read, and I can't wait to see how it develops! Especially since I can't help but wonder about the deal Everett offered... after all, while 10 years is long for Emile, it'd be just a drop in the bucket for such a long-lived being. I wonder what convinced him to give such a sweetheart deal?

Emile Johnson is a part of a wealthy family that indulges in dark magic. When that magic backfires, Emile comes up with a solution in the best way he knows how: strike a deal with a powerful eldritch being.
Unfortunately for him, he clumsily ends up summoning Ahritakthaman, the Prince of The Void. Thankfully, he's still able to make a deal with the deity--at a price of course. Now Emile's stuck being Ahritakthaman's servant--encountering eldritch creatures and other wacky cultists in the process.
