The man hinted at Mark's surveillance, to which Mark simply stated, "It's your luck that the only thing I don't know is where you are right now and your relationship with this case. But your luck may run out soon."

Silence hung heavily in the air as the man abruptly ended the call, leaving Mark to sip his coffee and return to his work.
