2nd chapter : euro .

            After the upside down events that happened to Marco, he ended up in the middle of a forest and was saved by an unknown old man. From the day he turned 18, Marco’s life changed 180 degrees.

             “So how's going kid?” the old man asked as he was sitting next to Marco who was in bed.

            Marco woke up calmly, not having a reaction to what happened during the battle or the whole incident. The old man looked at him, clueless about the whole situation that got Marco straight into sleeping for a whole two days before waking up. 

            “Anyway, it's already late to open my restaurant so help me after you get a proper rest this time!” A smile followed after the old man's words.

            Marco looked aside and went back to sleep. By morning Marco noticed that he was shirtless, his body was almost full of scars on his left side and on the back too but despite the scars his muscles were in a pretty good shape. Marco looked around clueless about the time and date, he saw that it was around 9am which fitted him. He washed his face then noticed his green irises, getting startled a little was a needed reaction and checking again few more times was also a normal reaction just to follow with the memories of the battle to come back in a flash.

           The old man saw him wandering around the place shirtless in addition he gave him some clothes instead of just a shirt. Marco looked Calmly to the old man who sighed then gave him a reassured smile to show a little bit of trust for him nevertheless Marco didn’t get it. 

            “Well, the name is Alba if you want to address me, also if your questions start with where? this place or kinda this whole dimension or world it’s called the Toss realm, you my boy? What did you do to be thrown here ?” Alba, the old man, finally started a conversation because of his curiosity. 

          Marco sighed as he rubbed his hair. “Honestly, I don’t know, until now I was just a normal boy, I was on my way to get a job but that monster appeared and this power thing happened-....” Marco was explaining himself calmly bearing no reaction to his words. 

        “ The power is called euro, and as I see you’re a new holder, such a rare thing to come here... ” Alba interjected then looked at Marco feeling a different vibe from him. 

        “Is there any way to get back to where I live?” Marco asked calmly while averting his gaze away.

         “Not really….” responded Alba after some seconds of silence.  

         Alba replied with two words and saw Marco all calm not even reacting to the fact that he could never return home then he asked. 

        “Aren’t you afraid of not returning home?” Curiosity struck Alba’s heart more.

        “It's not like I don’t get that fact, just my heart won’t move for it, not even an inch” Marco answered tranquilly, having Alba pat his head and smiling to cheer him up, however the expressionless blank face is what Alba got unexpectedly from what he wanted. 

        Marco spent two weeks after arriving in the so-called The Toss realm. Alba taught him stuff about the euro and how the people who can use the euro are called holders. The society long ago since the beginning of the civilization had always been 35% of it as holders. By the actual time, the society grew more but always kept the same percentage. And now a council is managing the hidden society. As for the toss realm it was like an eternal prison for criminal holders, Therefore, by that time the criminals here raised a population and even had to make cities and towns. Thus accepting the fate of living in the toss realm, some of them are still in their evil hood living to what their hearts have stood for. 

         Alba told Marco that the council Classified Alba as a criminal so they sent him to the toss realm and it’s been 20 years since then. Hearing that fact was like a new perspective for Marco, he learnt to adapt within the place and even worked with Alba who had a restaurant. Since Marco was living all alone with Arthur he was skilled in cooking. 

       Alba took a liking to Marco and his skills that brought the clients to him, therefore it was still a dimension for criminals. While serving the customers Marco saw a group of bandits stepping inside. He went to take their orders as if they were simple clients. Marco greeted them calmly but the bandits started to laugh and sipped water on his head, even with humiliation Marco kept the calm expressionless face. 

        “ keekee gahahaha !! What a doll !? Hey old man, did you bring a robot to work with you !?! gahahaha” their leader blabbered as he was laughing. 

        Everyone saw Marco sighed as he wiped his face not putting a single word to reply on their hazzard. Out of the blue, Alba released euro pressure in the place, scaring the bandits out of the place. 

         “Leave the fuck out of here! if you don’t wanna eat, and don’t get close to my restaurant again” The bandits fled at the moment after hearing the threats.

         Alba sighed, exhaling his breaths, he saw Marco looking at him not even fazed or having a problem, they continued working as if nothing happened.

           The night passed quickly with much of a tight shift during the day too. Alba and Marco finished their work then started the cleaning. When they were closing Marco spoke so suddenly. 

          “Alba sensei ? I don’t really have the right to ask but could you teach me the way to use this euro and the way to fight, a proper stance and proper skills?” His words finally showed that he was thinking about this for a while. 

         “Seriously, and I thought you were emotionless, I guess it’s just your face that doesn’t show” Alba replied restlessly “I’ll start teaching you by tomorrow, sounds good right? and in the end there might be a way to go back.” Then a smile came in place of that restless face.
