Alba answered Marco’s concerns as out of the blue, the two of them saw a girl standing by the front door of the restaurant. Both were surprised then Marco inhaled some air and took a smile as he waved for her to come inside. Alba was surprised to see his smile for the first time, thinking that this day was already finished with no more surprises. Marco prepared a kids meal for the little girl and put it straight at the table she struggled to sit at. The girl looked at the food for a second then ate with joy as she grew bunny ears that kept moving around from happiness. Marco smiled at the girl then Alba asked her.

          “Little girl, where are your parents? it’s pretty late to be alone here, let me call them to come to take you home”. 

          The girl kept looking at Marco as she said with a low voice, “I don’t know”, she had a sad smile. 

         “Then what’s your name ?” Alba asked her again. 

         She had the same expression “ I don’t know”. The girl took a liking to Marco and even was about to sleep in his arms. Marco smiled at Alba and took her to the upper rooms making her sleep there. After leaving her to sleep, he went down again and told Alba that they’ll search tomorrow for her parents. Within the next day, Marco didn’t want to look for her parents as he told Alba to let her stay by. 

          “That's reckless, plus I don’t think that we will be able to look after her”, Alba was a little confused about the situation then he sighed looking at Marco’s eyes that showed some determination in keeping the little girl around.

          “I know still, you told me yourself, don’t leave someone you think needs help on his own, now let’s let her stay with us” Marco pleaded as he was playing with the little girl. 

          The old man Alba felt uncomfortable about the situation he was in, since he lived alone for 20 years, and now he’s having two kids running around his place. With no other choices he smiled at both of them, confirming what Marco said in defense of himself.

         “Good for us Sophie!!” Marco addressed the little girl as he instantly gave her a name. 

        “Haaa!! Sophie!! My name is Sophie!!!” She looked more happy than ever. 

         The girl kept saying the name Marco gave her, then when she was all over her joy, the bunny ears disappeared and Marco giggled a little, smiling at Sophie. Sophie hugged him as she giggled too 

         “Then I’ll stay with Marco nii until the end of the road !!!!” Sophie said as she was attached to Marco who patted her head right after hearing her words, seeing that she was that smart at such a young age, he couldn’t help feeling that she deserves more smiles.

         A week passed and no information had appeared about the gates or portals from the human realm, that was the name that the council gave the whole dimension of the humans. As for Marco, he started training under Alba’s arms. It was a hellish training, nevertheless it gave him enough strength to move freely around the area without feeling the heaviness that he was feeling during the past two weeks when he first arrived.

         Six months passed, Marco learned everything he needed and even managed to surprise Alba about it. 

         “Well, those days were really enjoyable, and you even managed to use nature euro. Having an affinity for elemental attacks and using wind as a weapon, you just gotta perfect it more and my teachings will help you” Alba praised him as they were taking a rest after training as well as watching over Sophie who was playing around. 

          “I guess, I’m more used to this now, and even to the sensing of the euro around me. Still the only thing I can do is warping my left arm with wind as a shield, but I’m glad I did this at least-”. 

          Marco spoke but stopped right after sensing something weird. He and Alba sensed a huge euro flowing close to them to the point where even Sophie had looked towards that direction. Marco went and put her on his back as they went after the euro particles. As soon as they reached the location they found a gate opened, and had a strong pressure. 

          Alba looked at Marco calmly inspecting the gate, he sighed then gave him an awkward smile along with. With no hesitation Alba pushed Marco and Sophie to the gate.

         “Sorry kid, there’s nothing left for you here. Go back to the human realm!! also make sure you search for the Red mermaid!!! they will help you if you ask them!!! be sure to look for the guild called Red mermaid!!!”. 

          Alba’s words kept ringing inside Marco and Sophie's heads to the end, they saw Alba’s sad expression as they heard his words, the two crossed the portal unbalanced and with no luggage on them as the last thing they did was trying reach their hands to Alba’s therefore they couldn’t reach him.

         After crossing that portal by pure luck, Marco and Sophie lost consciousness. They woke up after finding themselves on the beach of the city. taking some looks around, Marco realized it was the palm city, where his house is located. He smiled sadly as he looked at Sophie who woke up right after him 

          “we’re home Sophie” softly patting her head. 

         Those calm words made her feel both happy and sad as she rubbed her bunny ears to make them disappear. 

         “Can we see Alba sensei again?” Sophie asked.

         She stood along with Marco who didn’t want to ruin her happiness,and tried to find some answers for that sudden question. 

         “ yeah , probably ”. 

         He answered with a calm voice and gave her piggyback ride on his back as he kept thinking on the same thing, that they will see him again.
