9th chapter : what will happen from now on .

      After getting into a stressful day of work, Marco was on his way back home to see Hana standing in the corner waiting for him. He sighed as he asked Carla to go on her own. She didn’t refuse as she took some food with her for  Sophie and Arthur.

          “I never, ever, imagined that you're gonna work here from all places” Hana said suddenly as she was walking with Marco on the sand of the beach.  

          “Spare me your words please, as if I imagined that I’d find you there today, since when?” Marco answered and asked at the same time. 

          “When what? when I knew about the existence of the euro holders society or when I knew about the red mermaid restaurant?”  Hana avoided the answer with another question. 

          The two looked into each other and sighed, then both giggled a little. 

          “Well, you are getting cocky, honestly part of me is happy that you know about this world, the other part is where I tell myself that I’m gonna be stuck with your selfish requests even in this new life” Marco pleaded while laying down on the sand. 

          “As straight as ever. Well, I’m not that selfish in the first place, and second, my family, the Loki family, is a hybrid dwarf family. that’s a reason why I know about the euro society and a reason why I can’t join a guild like the rest of the holders”. 

          Hana was annoyed by Marco who spoke straightforwardly. At the moment she mentioned the hybrid word Marco got up looking at her face and looking aside to Yuna as she nodded to him, he sighed and returned back to laying down. she laughed about his reaction then she smiled at him before having a serious look. 

           “Then, won’t you ask about him?” she asked. 

           The vibe changed for a moment and things looked calm at first.  

           “Him, I don’t really care whether he knows or not. all that I know that he left us” he replied with a sad tone of voice but didn’t seem to be fully sad about it. 

           “Sigh, I’m tired !! Let's go back home!!” Hana said as she was laying next to Marco on the sand. 

           “I guess we need to return, it’s pretty dark, and your parents are going to be mad whether you stay the…no forget it I’ll take you home”.

           Marco said as he stopped for a moment after seeing Hana doing the puppy eyes thing. After that he had no choice but to let her stick around his house for the night, therefore she took a hit on the head because of doing the victory sign right in front of him. 

           after reaching the house,

           “She’s staying the night at our house” Marco spoke to Carla.

           As he went back to his home, Hana smiled at Carla while taking off her shoes. 

           “Tehehe!! Thanks for having me, I’ll go call my parents!!” Hana said as she rushed inside to use the phone. 

           Seeing that fast reaction and how she knows her way around the house, Carla looked at Marco with deadly glares however Marco patted her head. 

           “She’s my childhood friend, she used to stay here more than one night, so I guess I apologize for not letting you know about her coming”.

           Carla pouted at Marco but gave him a fine smile after that. 

           “Marco!! My parents want to talk to you!!”. 

           The two heard Hana’s calling as Marco sighed. He went and explained the situation to her parents, Carla was amazed at how he was talking thoroughly with them on the phone.

           The night passed and Alice didn’t return yet as everyone slept , Marco used that time and went back to the palace after going into his bed, he got used easily to go and return to the palace using his astral body, even the three of them have managed to find a way to pass time around the palace while waiting for him from time to time unless Yuna or one of the other two stays around him. 

           “I see!! So Hana!!! Is!! one of the three families!!! sigh!!!”. 

           Marco spoke in the middle of his training with Yuna as she was teaching him her basic stances, he stopped to catch his breaths while speaking with Selicia and Cedric too. 

           “Well, you were childhood friends and that’s good, since most of the serments were made by the dwarfs themselves” Cedric said as he served him some water. 

           “Having a dwarf on your side is like having a maintenance expert” Selicia interjected right after Cedric’s words. 

             “So how was your first time using the chains outside?” Yuna asked in hope of changing the topics. 

             “Not that much, It was kinda hard to pull it off, I mean you told me the trick but the trick has another trick, so I figured that going on instinct and spreading all my euro particles around the area was a good idea” Marco replied having the three of them impressed. 

             “I see, show me an exam!! ple!!” Selicia said as she found herself bound by chains right before she could finish her words.

             As Marco used the chains, Yuna and Cedric whistled, applauding for what Marco did. Selicia did the same as she snapped her fingers getting out of the chains. 

             “Well, going back to work!! let’s see whether you could land a hit with these or it’s just for the show, your opponent will be me” Selicia added as she stood. 

             Marco wasn’t surprised as he accepted her task, he saw her having a smug face with a bit of a confident smile. She was fully open but Marco didn’t want to attack first as she noticed him not going to get the first move, she launched some elemental attacks targeting his shoulders therefore Marco only bent down a little bit as a sudden chains appeared guarding the two attacks right before it could land. After bending down he dashed directly attacking from the front, she smiled at him as she used an earth wall to stop him. 

             Marco didn’t see that coming and slammed right into the wall but Selicia and the other two smiled as his attack was about to reach. Selicia grabbed his sword right before it would land on her left shoulder, the three of them saw chains tied to the back of the sword as if it was some sort of lance surrounding Selicia’s range. After grabbing his sword Marco continued his attack and leaped right to her back, gently putting his hand on the back of the sword trying to push it into her shoulder with a wind strengthened push but Selicia had already landed her blows stopping his attack and having him caught in the middle of the air by plant roots.

             “Pun Pun Pun!!! you will never land a proper hit on me as long as you don’t understand that i’m superior to you!!! wahahahaha!!” Selicia couldn’t stop the mockery until Yuna and Cedric pumped her head to the ground.
