“Erased memories huh, Well I don’t care whether I need them or not, I gotta focus on what I have on my hands now” Marco said as he woke up from his bed and went to the kitchen. 

           On his way he noticed that Alice hadn't returned yet. He calmly prepared breakfast and kept it in the fridge for them since it was 6am. After washing his face, he went out for a morning run. 

           “Sigh, if you wanted to stay the night at someone else’s house you should’ve called” Marco somehow scolded Alice as he saw her talking to herself on the way back home. 

           Alice shivered in place as she felt his sudden presence next to her, she clearly wasn’t focusing on what was around but Marco’s calm steps just added fuel to the fire. 

           “Don’t scare me like that!! and I wasn’t staying the night at someone else's house. We had some work in the restaurant” she replied after catching her breath. 

           “Well, I headed to take a few rounds as a morning training. The breakfast is in the fridge, heat it up and eat your part, I’ll be back soon” Marco said as he went on his way. Alice looked at him having more reaction as she smiled seeing him go on his way.

           “Sigh, he said the fridge, but seriously didn’t he prepare too much?” Alice whispered after seeing what Marco prepared for them. 

           She spoke slowly so she wouldn’t wake them up, after eating Alice saw Sophie and Arthur woke up too and having their breakfast. She was impressed to see these two eating a share of what Marco prepared for them. 

           “You woke up already, I guess I overslept, ” Carla yawned, rubbing her eye a little bit. 

           After eating breakfast and cleaning the dishes and the living room, the five of them had nothing to do but to play some stuff until Marco returned. 

           “I’m back” he said while taking off his shoes. 

           “Marco nii!!” Sophie replied as she jumped to his arms. 

           Marco gave her a fine smile and put her down.

           “Welcome back, still Marco!! you didn’t buy the TV like I told you to do!!” Hana said as she was pouting at him so suddenly. 

            Marco sighed and flicked her forehead, as the two looked at each other with pale faces before Alice would arrive. 

            “And I said I’ll do it later, it’s not something that you need to use always,” he replied coldly. 

            Marco got stopped from talking by Alice and Hana as the two had a furious look on their eyes, at that moment he realized that he stepped on a landmine.

            “Sigh, how the hell did this happen in the first place?” Marco complained coldly. 

            He found himself in another city mall to buy a new TV for the house as Alice and Hana dragged him to buy it , somehow they turned it into a small outdoor trip. 

            “Don’t say that, the fact that I tagged along means that it’s important!!” Carla responded madly. 

            “You’re acting like I killed your best thing in life, it’s just a TV” Marco said as he looked at her pouting. 

            “Well well, I agreed on tagging along because you said that you don’t know in the first place, I’m more surprised how you managed to live without a TV till now” Alice said as the three of them got inside the mall. 

            “I’m used to books and those things more than electronics. Things such as my current phone and washing machine in the bathroom are new to us, and the phone was originally for work. more or less I guess I got your point , I gotta give Arthur and Sophie more things to pass their daily life than boring things you say…?” Marco said as he had a serious face looking at Alice and Carla not even listening to what he said. 

            “The way you spoke right now totally looked like you’re an old man!!” Hana responded as she twitched a brow on his words.   

            He sighed as Yuna replied to him “well, they got a point. This machine called TV is needed in this era and this realm, so buying one isn’t going to cost you your life” she smiled too as a reassurance . 

            After some time of walking around the malls, Carla and Alice stopped in front of a stall as the stall had a prize for the one who wins their little competition. Looking at the odds, and the prices that were shown in the shops Yuna totally zipped her mouth the whole time before Alice and Carla would notice this small competition.

            “Marco!! This is your chance to get a free TV!! do it now!!” both said as they were shaking him right and left. 

            “I get it, I get it!! stop shaking me!!” Marco sighed and went to participate.

            He couldn’t shake the eyes of these two who were totally immersed in getting this set of TV. 

            “We have another participant!! ladies and gentlemen will he succeed in getting all the apples down, our competition must be funny for you but the prize is real!! and we are waiting for the hero to finish it!!” The employee announced as he gave Marco some small sharpened needles for him to throw them at five targets from a far range. 

            “Am I really going to get a TV set if I win this?” Marco asked as he was looking at the needles. 

            The employee replied with a yes as he was not expecting from Marco to get all the five spots and in the middle. Marco didn’t waste his efforts and secretly used a weak version of his wind thrust pushing the needles and pinning them forcibly without anyone noticing. The employee was shocked as he was sure that his boss told him it was a bluff game and no one can beat it, on top of that Marco easily winning this game made him speechless too.

            “I don’t feel that good about beating that game, well it was cheating after all. The game was never meant to be cleared but I feel refreshed, my savings are safe” Marco said as he was taking out the big TV with him. 

            Alice and Carla looked at him then sighed as they saw his scary money loving smile. 

            “You say that, but the employee had his life on the line, but it was a win-win situation I guess. The crowd came to buy more from that store” Carla spoke as she had to tag along with his way of doing things. 

            “Still, what did you do back then?” Alice asked while waiting for an answer from him. 

            Marco looked to her as Yuna was behind her telling him that he needs to hide his potential for the time being, looking that he couldn’t fool Alice’s experienced eyes, she instantly figured something was off the moment he won the game. 

             “I used cheer force for that, I guess I was lucky with my strength on the line” he replied calmly. 

             Alice looked to him and to his hands after that she sighed as she slapped his back, she didn’t say a thing for a moment seeing that his palm was scattered with more scars than what ones can have. 

             “You scared me for a moment. Also you gotta cut your hair, it's getting longer” she said as she smiled a little bit. 

             Marco looked at her and touched his hair with a bit of dark gloomy expression, it totally showed that it’s a red line to speak about it. 

             “I like it this way…I don’t think about cutting it any time soon” he replied and caught the distance between them. 

             With that small reply, Alice felt a strange vibe around him therefore she decided to laugh it off and keep calm about it.
