Sofia, despite having built a life in Dallas, does not forget her Mexican roots. She longs to share her culture with her children and teach them the value of her traditions. She embarks on a journey of self-discovery to reconnect with her past and strengthen her cultural identity.
She visits museums, attends cultural events and participates in Mexican cooking workshops. Through these experiences, Sofia passes on to her children her love for her homeland and instills in them values such as family, solidarity and the struggle for social justice.
