I remember last night so clearly. After we took our bows, we went out and did a meet-and-greet with the fans. It took hours, there were SO many fans! Since it was opening night, we had an extra large crowd, full of news reporters wanting interviews, critics waiting to review our show for the internet, rich people wanting to fund our show - you get the idea. The worst thing is that after we got through the normal meet-and-greet, we had to do about 20 different interviews before we were even allowed to get changed and take off our makeup. The show ended around 10:30. I was in my dressing room at 1:45 in the morning. I finally got home around 3am, and I went right to sleep, without a shower or anything. Then I woke up at 1, and here we are. I'm getting ready to head back to the theater and do it all again. Even though I got a solid 10 hours of sleep, I feel like I haven't slept a wink.
That means that whoever put the flowers here had to have come between 3am and 1pm. That's a HUGE chunk of time. If I had followed my mom's instructions when I moved into this apartment 2 years ago (I wanted an apartment close to the theater so I could get to and from rehearsals easier). Lucky me, I got an apartment only 3 blocks away! Anyway, if I had followed my mom's instructions, I would have bought security cameras. However, I insisted that I was safe, living in a good neighborhood and she believed me because I had a man living with me. Soon after we moved in, all happy couple, I went to rehearsal one day and when I came back he was gone. So my mom thought I was even more insecure. I still refused cameras, but I let her buy me state of the art door locks and windows. Since my ex left I haven't dated anyone else. I've been kept busy with rehearsals and bonding with the cast, since that is a MUST for any cast. My apartment is pretty big, I have 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a full sized kitchen with a table for eating, and a nice sized living room. So whenever the cast gets together to hang out or to have a sleepover, we usually do it at my place.
