Lucia heard the sound of Callum's footsteps approaching and she instinctively stepped aside. She felt her heart skip a beat as he stood before her, his shirtless body glistening in the dim light. He looked like a Greek god, with his muscular chest, broad shoulders, and chiseled abs. His dark hair was tousled and his green eyes sparkled with mischief. He smiled at her, revealing his perfect white teeth.
Lucia felt a rush of heat in her cheeks and a flutter in her stomach. She couldn't believe that this handsome creature before her was real. She was tempted to touch him, but she pinched herself to snap out of it.
Lucia waited for him to move away from the door, but he didn't budge. He just stood there, staring at her with a smile. He seemed to enjoy teasing her, making her squirm under his gaze. Lucia could feel her frustration building up, along with something else she didn't want to admit.
"Are you going to move or do you want to remain there like a statue?" she snapped at him.
Callum chuckled. "I thought you were admiring my body. I wanted to give you some time to soak it all in."
Lucia's face turned red, having been caught ogling his shirtless torso. She blurted out, "What bullshit! Tsk, your body isn't all that great."
Lucia knew that was a big lie, but her pride was at stake here. He had the body of a Greek god, with sculpted muscles, broad shoulders, and a six-pack that made her mouth water. She tried to look away, but his piercing green eyes held her captive.
He moved closer to her, his tall and imposing figure looming over her. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Oh really? Then why are your eyes moving so fast as you talk?"
Lucia shut her eyes, hoping to block out his presence. She opened them again and looked up at him defiantly. "My eyes were just trying to adjust to the light," she lied. "You have a problem with that?"
She sounded almost like a gangster, trying to act tough. Callum was truly amused by her personality. Just in the span of one night, she had done and said so much to him that others wouldn't have dared to do or say. He found her feisty and charming, and he wanted to kiss her senseless for some reason.
He smiled and said, "No problem at all. In fact, I like your eyes. They're very expressive."
He moved his face closer to hers, closing the gap between them. Lucia felt his warm breath on her lips, and her heart skipped a beat.
She whispered, "What are you doing?"
He whispered back, "What do you think?"
Lucia backed away from him, putting some space between their bodies. She looked at him with amusement and annoyance, and said in a mock-serious tone, "Listen here, mister, I think our little game is over. As I recall, you fulfilled my wishes, and I thank you for that. It was an experience that I'll probably remember for a while, until I find someone else who can blow my mind and make me forget all about you. But this," she waved her finger between them, "is not going to work out, mister. I'll admit it, you're hot, but I want to see what else the sea has to offer. I don't want to limit myself to one fish, no matter how big or tasty it is. So, on that note, can you kindly move aside and let me use the bathroom? I need to freshen up."
Lucia tried to sound confident and casual, but her voice betrayed her nervousness. She knew he could see through her bluff. He was not the type of man one would see easily, he looked like a trophy.
With a smile still playing on his lips Callum shook his head. He knew she was lying. He could see the desire in her eyes, the flush on her face, the tremble in her lips. "Nice try, sweetheart. You almost got me with your speech."
Callum casually slid his hand into his pocket, making his trouser hug his hips and legs even more. His shirtless torso was still on full display, showing off his sculpted muscles and smooth skin.
Lucia felt her eyes widen and her mouth go dry. She had to resist the urge to swoon or drool. This man, she thought to herself, was too much to handle. He was like a walking temptation, and a human aphrodisiac.
