Melusi went and opened his door and got inside, I also did the same, and watched him as he drove to wherever we were going, not even once had he said anything towards me.

“Don’t speak to anyone and don’t mingle with anyone unless I tell you to.” He spoke for the first time as he drove inside a castle, not once had I ever seen a palace with my own two eyes, it is breathtaking.

Melusi handed me a mask and put on his, as we got out of the car.

When we reached the door he took my hand and gave the person at the door a card and led me inside.

The place was packed with so many people all dressed elegantly and each and everyone had a mask on, some had over the top masks but they all looked beautiful.

Melusi took two glasses of champagne from the waiter and gave one to me.

“Melusi.” One gentleman came as he shook his head “Is this another arm candy that you got for yourself?”

Melusi laughed “Maybe.” And soon they talked about business, that I was so bored but I stood there not leaving his side.

“Go and grab yourself something to eat.” And before I knew it he was gone and went to talk to another couple.

I went to the table where the food was at and took a small portion for myself and a glass of wine and went out side.

I was constantly looking for a way to get out but it was so hard since guards were everywhere.

I placed the plate and the wine on the table and looked out the table, I could have jumped but it was such a steep drop.

I looked back inside the packed room and saw Melusi deep in conversation with another person.

I guess this is my chance, I said to myself and slipped passed the thick crowd and went to find an exit out of this place.
