It has been a couple of weeks since I last saw Melusi, other than in the hallways where he gave me the cold shoulder.

I sat down at the breakfast table and yet again he was not joining me. I found myself missing the little moments that we had that one time before I ate those nuts.

I sat back on the chair and sighed as I pushed my food around with a fork.

“You should never play with your food.”

I almost jumped out of my skin as I heard the voice that I had been longing to hear, I turned my head around and he was standing there in his leather jacket looking dashing.

My heart skipped a beat at his sight “I..” suddenly my throat closed up, I turned back around and faced my food with a little disappointment.

I don’t know what I was thinking or maybe I got my hopes too high when I thought he would act a little different.

“I’m invited to a party and you are coming with; make sure you are ready by 7 p.m,” he said and turned around and left as if he was never here by my side. I sat there wondering what I did wrong to having him treat me like this, like I was nothing.
