By 7 I was already done, I smiled as I looked at the mirror I looked beautiful in my elegant dress. I walked down the stairs expecting Melusi to be down the stairs waiting for me but I only found Lizzie smiling.

“You look beautiful,” she said as I reached the bottom of the stairs and handed me my small bag. “He’s already waiting in the car.”

I thanked her as I walked out. “Hurry up.” He shouted as he looked at his watch in annoyance.

I half walked and half ran in the car, as soon as I got inside I watched him as he sped away.

I was surprised to see a boat at the deck, we both got out of the car and he helped me as I stepped Inside the boat, there were lots of people there all in their best clothes yet.

The place was fully packed with so many rich folks. This time he did no leave my side he was there as if he was afraid I might make the run for it.

As we tried to pass through people I stopped on my tracks, my heart was pounding. I could not believe my eyes, I closed my eyes and opened them again hoping whatever I was seeing was all a dream.

My legs wobbled a little to know that it was not a dream, I looked at Melusi and his hand tightened around my arm but his face did not betray him.

I looked back again this time I was sure that it was no dream, it was all real.

My legs held the ground I didn’t know what to do at this second, a lot of questions were going through my head.
