It rains for several days, on and off; bringing more aliens to the Earth......
Most try to land in the shelters that are now being built for them, in different cities all around the world--with at least a few per nation...
Now, in an white collar area in Victoria Australia: An scientist watches a Crimini mushroom through a window in his thto.. "Come here, Tom!" he shouted in a hushed tone! "Wot?!" an huge butcher walks up behind him "This is what ya invited me ovah for? To peep on some wench??" he asked. "Shut up!!! Someone gonna here ya, mate!" the scientist grunted back! "Look, that one always goes out by himself when he getsa chance, and his mates all go off and do whateva! We havva chance now!" he then explained, the butcher smirked and takes up his cleaver.. then they both snuck outside and followed the alien. The butcher then quickly sliced through his neck! "Hurry, hurry!" the scientist shouted in hushed tones, and the bigger man drags him away...
Later in his home; they laid the killed alien on the kitchen table.. the butcher then chops off a arm and chews it immediately! "Hmmm! Like a brown 'n, esept meatier! You war wight!" he laughed with a full mouth, "Stop that, let me study it first!" the scientist retorts angrily "It's true that they're mushrooms, NOT people.... It's a wondah why they were let on God's green earth! They're fungi, food, even witha closer look: I don't see why these abominations are be able to move at all!". Tom laughs as he takes a leg and goes to put it in a stew "All I know is t'at it's good!" he cheered, the scientist splits open the rest of the alien "Stop shouting, shut up!" the scientist warned in rage "...Oh, this thing is little more than: cartilage, simple nervous system and ...what I guess is some type of blood?" the scientist now asks as he looks through the splayed alien, "I can't tell what most of this is... but these aliens' anatomy seems like a `high school science project` alot of this can work, but shouldn't, naturally.. but this, this trash is normal for these aliens..."... he trailed off as he continued rummaging through the cadaver....
A few days later, after more aliens cluelessly landed on Earth; Jon, the rest of the ambassadors and Princess Djamor finished yet another day of meetings and finding still homeless mushroom-people...but today they continued talking more and more after work, and even now; while they're nearing his home...
"That was so funny, not in a mean way, but.. the look on his face!" she finishes saying and then laughs. "Yes, yes; sometimes I still think there's monsters in the dark too, even knowing you people!" Jon replies, then corrects himself "That didn't come out right..." . Djamor laughs even more! "I know what you meant!" she replies "There isn't any reason to worry; I understand that as long as we've been here: seeing anybody run out of a area you couldn't see in, even if just for a hug; could scare anyone!". They near his doorstep... then he suddenly noticed "Oh.. um, we seem to be at my house..", she stops laughing as much and looks at it "It's beautiful!" she exclaimed looking at the brick home. "Um, I would like to take you back to your home; in the shelter..." Jon says nervously "It's dangerous at night..". "Then who'd take you back home?" Djamor asks with a laugh "I could simply stay over, and we can go back out tomorrow without having to meet up first!"... "Um, uh... y,y,you want to stay over here tonight?" he asked nervously. "Of course, I can trust your place isn't dangerous, right?" she jokes.. Jon laughs wryly, while she laughs loudly... "Please let me stay?" she then asks sweetly again.. "Oh, okay.. please come in.. um, fortunately I had a maid clean it recently, now that I've had a chance to get back home.." he explains in some confidence...
They go in, Jon turns on the lights to reveal his house is fashioned to look like a log cabin inside.. save for the for the sight of a laptop in nearly every room with a open doorway and lab lights for impromptu experiments.. "Wow, your home is.." she starts to say.. "Yea.. my desires and work clashed together, I wanted a mountain fort feel, but ...life happens.. I guess a scientist can't live that way, right?" Jon tried explaining his home-design... "This, this is curious.. I wish we had something like this on Eukar... Wood, right?" she replies "Our home doesn't allow for many lifeforms that you could see by being so close to a star...". "You don't have forests at all I assume? Or.... rather; I should be more surprised that meat grows on your planet despite that occurrence should be impossible too." Jon starts to mumble as he gets into deep thought.. "It's not really human flesh, what I told you about..." the princess replies and snaps him out of it. "So.. our fungus might not completely be the same thing you are, either.." he started.. "Oh Jon, let's talk about something else?" Djamor exclaims sweetly.. "!? What?!" Jon asks in surprise, "I ..I purposely tried to distract you so I could follow you here; I want to ...I think I want to mate with you!" Djamor reveals happily!
"WHAT?? Why? How?!" Jon started stuttering in surprise and steps back... "Oh doctor, you're the first human I've met, and the most supportive too!" she reveals "How could I not have such feelings; why, on my planet I would have spoken up and revealed this way before now! But I know you humans see relationships differently than we do, so I tried to be private about this!". "Wh, what?? Um, but my dear Djamor.. " he tries to return the positive tone and kindness back to her as he asked "Aren't you.. um....... ..you strike me as quite young... your mannerisms remind me of a adult, yet nevertheless a younger one: I might be too old for you?".. he laughs nervously and scratched the back of his bald head and revealed "At least; I, I know it's been quite a while since I was able to run around like you do..". " Jon... is age that big of a problem here?" she asks curiously "Humans judge maturity by how long one survives the planet rotating around your star as well as by your actions. Ours has a different rotation and no star..but me and my brother are both around your height and have responsibilities that our people wouldn't give to children.". " It's quite different here!" he retorts "W,we must fulfill specifically tasks in order to prove our adulthood; even physical maturity isn't enough! Why, even grown humans can still be dubbed as `children` if they are unable to fulfill expectations and responsibilities!" Jon then replies in a stern and fearful tone "Djamor: I'm probably old enough to be your father too!", "I have worked with you all this time, and my parents trusted my coming to this alien planet as a ambassador." Djamor reminds him with patience. "..........Um... Yea.. I,I, I, I forgot." Jon starts after thinking for a second, then sighs "B,b,but ..".. he's cut off by the princess laughing " Are you afraid of me? Is this what's keeping me away from you? I'm only a woman who simply adores you!", " Oh.. I, I... I.. like you too, I must admit..." he then laughs!
"Yes!" she cheers, "But if you do, please stop running?".. Jon now notices that he has backed up into a wall... Djamor then gets close to his face "So... can we do it now?" she asks in a excited whisper... "No,now!? I can't now! Um... I mean, h,how would we?" Jon asks curiously; his nervousness aside, he honestly was always curious: they eat, walk and talk similarly to humans; but he was always curious if the aliens would simply throw spores like normal earth fungus...
"It's SO easy!" she exclaims, then holds his shoulders.. "First it's important to know that this WON'T work if we're both not ready: I can't produce, and you can't accept them, unless we're both in the mood!". "Um, you, you ARE going to spore me? I'm.. really, really going to grow ...fungus?" he asks in some fear.. "They're babies not fungus! And it's much more simple than that!" the princess exclaims, then backs away... "Our caps, as you call them, are like... hair more so.. even if something happens to them, we can regrow them easily, they're also a way for us to do this❤" she shakes her pink cap, causing sparkly spores to fly out and fall on the man!!!
"I've been seeded!?" he says with an fearful gasp! "Don't be scared, or they won't receive the nutrition they need!" she warns. Djamor then holds his cheeks getting him to stare into her eyes; trying to calm him... "You don't have to do the whole process, they only need a damp area for most of this time.. But you humans are so very different than us, so please, no: showers, no shaving, and no dangerous activities until tomorrow night, then you'll be able to safely remove our babies!" she exclaims in a whisper! Jon stared in awe and some horror.. in a brief moment, he already became impregnated by an alien!
Meanwhile, Quincy has went back to his daily grind: going to work, visiting friends and returning home. But now days he sees so many mushrooms upon going out. They work jobs and vocations that people, machinery and/or computers sometimes fails to do... They also watch from dark areas like abandoned buildings and dumpsters, which scares him too... Today: Quincy staggers into a gas station "Dammit..." he sighs, and gets a beer.. then turns around to find that the cashier there is a phalhineae mushroom alien!!?
Some people run as soon as they noticed him, the fanatics and more accepting humans shop as normal, while fewer stick around to talk to him. Quincy step back from this sight, then braces himself and walks far around the crowd. And goes to the back of the gas station...
"Randy!!" he yells, an tired man looked up from a easy chair "What is it Quince? I can't keep dropping prices for ya!" he yells with a laugh! "Not THAT! You.." the cowboy replied in a louder whisper "You let one of 'em mushrooms in here!?". "Of course!" Randy replied happily "Th' thing works for free! And I get to sit on my ass longer!", "You're missin' the point; ya let a monster in HERE!?" Quincy retorts... "A monster is whoever came up with tax season!" Randy replies "That out there is just a kinda ugly guy who works for FREE!". The gas station owner continued to laugh, while Quincy shook his head and steps out the manager office just in time to see the crowd looking at him.... "Did they here me!?" he wonders, then the alien says "Sir, I asked Mr Randy for this job to get used to living here... But, I understand there's racial barriers on this planet.. should I try to change my diet? I understand people with your skin color are more accepted, and eating drastically different could change my race's complexion, at least what with all the food coloring Earth food has..." he honestly suggests to Quincy... the other humans glare at the cowboy though, ...what he shouted DID sound wrong..instead of just fear, it of course sounded like hatred
Quincy dropped his beer and ran!!! He gets in his truck and speeds home; was he wrong!? Was he really being racist?! Quincy questioned himself, and his fears while he sped away from the situation...

The news of the aliens being edible spread among humans in back alleys and on the dark web... unbeknownst to many...
