Chapter 6: Clean up 

Ja looking around the station sees Inori, closing his hands, whispering some words. Sounding like a spell.  Not paying any mind to it, Ja turns to look at Arkham, looking him up and down. “You like something you see, kid?” Arkham asks him as he lights a cigar. Leaning against a wall, he puts his revolver away and takes a hit from his cigar. “Are you a cowboy?” Ja asks him. Inori, looking at Arkham, smiles as his staff turns into a cane. “He was a long time ago,” Inori says to Ja, answering his question. Arkham smirks, “A long time ago you say” he says, making a remark to Inori. Yukon stretching walks over to Morales, Taking a seat he looks around seeing all the police officers knocked out, and some people dead from the initial blast. “Damn Morales seems like you've had a rough day” He says jokingly to Morales who's sitting on a bench with Ronin.  “Yeah it's been pretty rough,” He replies. As they all sit around waiting, Dr.Phobos walks through the door.  Standing 5’9, wearing glasses, very skinny, and a dark skin tone. “Wow what a mess' ' he says walking over pieces of glass, and a dead body. Snapping his fingers an invisible force field forms around the station, “All that is seen, all that is felt, shall be erased from those with eyes' ' He chants as everything begins to get cleaned up and put back in place. Ja, and Ronin eyes widen as they see everything go back to normal. Amazed at the magic, or sorcery that's being done, looking like it was ripped out from a movie. “What's he doing?” Ja asks, watching Dr.Phobos continue his spell. Arkham hearing Ja crouches down next to him. “Dr.Phobos is using his first wall, it's very strong, he can practically erase what has happened and create his own, but it takes a toll everytime”  He explains to Ja. Listening to him, Ja begins to become more curious. “Takes a toll?” he asks. Arkham opening his hand points at his pinky. “Dr.Phobos is very unique, he only has one wall, everything was put into it…Meaning it's stronger than most, but it affects his body more, mainly his brain.” Arkham pointing to his ring finger begins to go into more detail. “Now for most of us, our power is split up…We have first wall, * points at middle finger* Then we have a second wall, third wall, and sometimes even a fourth.” Ja opens his hand as he begins to wonder what power he has. “ But like I said it takes a toll, since we were human before we were chosen, our bodies have limits ... .the higher the wall, the longer it takes to recover.” Arkham says as he closes his hand. “So that's why this takes a big toll?” Ja asks. “Exactly, since he only has one…his hurts more then ours so we only call him during emergencies,” Arkham replies. Ja smiles thinking about all the possibilities he could possibly have. “So how many Do I have?” he asks. Arkham smirks as he takes off his hat. “I don't know kiddo…When walls are broken down it's never during a time of happiness.” He says as Ja excitement fades away. Walking over to the two of them Inori stands in front of them “We're almost done,” he says.  The three of them turning the corner see the station completely brand new, and everyone affected by the attack frozen, waiting for Dr.Phobos to remove his first wall. “ What do we do with the boys:” He asks as Ja walks over to the bench Ronin is sitting at. Morales looking at them turns to Dr.Phobos “Don't touch them ... .Let them remember, "he says. Inori walking up to Morales smiles, “are you gonna take them or should we take them back with us” he asks Morales. Morales stops to think for a minute, remembering the training he had to grow through as a kid, and all the times he wished for a normal childhood. “No, it's my responsibility now,” he says to Inori. Nodding his head, Inori walks to Dr.Phobos, Yukon, and Arkham. “See you soon Morales' ' He says before they disappear before their eyes and everything goes back to normal, with police working and people yelling again. Morales puts his hand on their backs as he leads them out the station . Getting in the car, Ja and Ronin look at Morales who takes a deep breath. “You boys come back with me until we figure something out, ok” He says to them. Ronin and Ja nod their heads, as Morales drives off. 

30 min later: Morales drives into the parking lot behind a bar, looking through the rear view mirror he sees Ja, and Ronin sleeping. Sitting in his seat for a brief moment he takes a deep breath, and Looks at his watch as the time hits 3:45 am. “I need some rest”  he whispers to himself as he gets out of the car and puts Ronin, and Ja on his shoulders. Carrying through the back door, Morales is met up with a young lady. “Weird seeing your face around here Morales” She says, standing leaning against a wall chewing bubble gum. Morales looking at her smiles, “Still the same old brat, Merissa” he says to her. Crossing her arms, she makes a mad face. Merissa is 13 years old, the younger sister to Tess who owns the bar. She has two pony tails, freckles, with a brown hair color with bright green eyes. “My sister is still mad at you Morales ... .Don't think you can just walk back in without consequences.” She says, as Morales smirks walking past her. Walking towards a back room Morales puts Ja and Ronin down on a couch and covers them with a nearby blanket. Morales crouches down, looking at the two of them. Sitting for a few seconds he hears someone approach them.  “So you go away for three years…and come back with two boys” Tess says. Morales turns around to look at her, and rubs the back of his head. “Not my boys…and I'm sorry I got busy,” he replies. Slowly walking up to him she looks into his eyes. “Busy enough to forget about me, right?” she says to him. Taking her eyes off him she goes over to Ja and Ronin. Tess, just like her sister, has brown hair, and green eyes. Perfect skin, and teeth, standing 5 '4 in perfect shape, she was compared to an angel by some. “I didn't forget about you Tess” he says to her, watching her play with Ja’s hair. “Yet you leave, and don't say goodbye or even call” she says, as she gets up. With her back turned to Morales she looks out the window. “You can stay until tomorrow…But don't think I forgive you for what you did” she says walking out the room, and shutting the door behind him. Morales walking over to a rocking chair he Sits down and takes a deep breath, But while he sits down Tess, stands behind the door, sitting there for a moment remembering her and Morales' relationship before he left. “Do you still like him?” Merissa asks as she sees Tess in front of the door. Blushing, Tess rubs the back of her head, and smiles. “No no no of course not….why would you say that”  she says to Merissa. Rolling her eyes she walks away, leaving Tess alone. 

10:00 Am:   Ronin wakes up,  stretching and yawning. He looks around and rubs his eyes as he gets up, and walks towards the door. “Hold on kid” Morales says drying his hair. “Go shower your are a mess, and wake up your brother” he says to Ronin. Putting on a shirt, Morales grabs a bag of clothes, and throws it at Ronin. “I went out and bought you guys clothes” he says, while Ronin lifts it up. “ Are they sweat suits?” He asks Morales.  “Yeah they are…do you like them?” Morales replies. Ronin, looking at the hoodie, smiles. “Yeah, I've never had one before” He says in an excited tone. Morales smirks as he pans over to look at Ja. Seeing Ja sound asleep looks back at Ronin. “ Well,  you get the first pick since your brother is still asleep,” he says. Ronin picks up the gray sweat suit, goes to the bathroom, and locks the door. “Little kids man” morales whispers to himself, as the door opens. To Morales' surprise Tess walks in with a tray of eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Setting it on the table while Merissa follows behind her with glasses of orange juice. “Wow thanks ladies” Morales says to them. Tess smiles, while Merissa rolls her eyes. “I only did it because she told me” Merissa says, before turning around and walking out the room. “Well she hasn't changed much” Morales says jokingly. Grabbing a chair Tess sits down at the table with him. “Yeah she was really upset when you left. *Pausing for a few seconds* As was I”. Morales looking down, feels terrible like a punch to the gut. “I’m sorry Tess…I really am” He says to her as they stare into each other's eyes for a moment. In that moment Morales remembered everything before he left, all the moments they spent with one another. That moment would then be disrupted by Ja. “AHHHH YEAH WHO BROUGHT THE FOOD” He yells as he tries to grab a piece of bacon. Merissa walking back into the room with a plate dashes over to Ja right before he touches the food. “HEYY WASH YOUR HANDS FIRST” Merissa yells as she smacks his hand. Ja taking his hand back rubs it. “DANG LADY YOU YELLING WAS ENOUGH” Ja yells back at her. Morales, smiling, gets up in the middle of them like two dogs about to fight each other. “Ja go freshen up Ronin should be out any second now” He says to Ja. Merissa sticks out her tongue, but in a blink of an eye Ja grabs a piece of bacon and shoves it in his mouth. Merissa eyes widen in disbelief, Jumping over the table she tackles Ja, and they begin to fight. “Hey you two stop it” Morales says following the two of them in their path of destruction. Ronin walking out of the bathroom, unamused seeing the two of them fight, dries his hair, and walks over to the table. “Can I sit here?” He asks Tess, grabbing a plate. Walking past Ja, Merissa, and Morales, he serves himself food, and sits down next to Tess. “ So you're Ronin.” Tess says, Ronin taking a bite of his food looks at Tess, and smiles. “Yeah that's me” he replies as the fight continues behind them. Tess leaning on her hand smiles, “You're very calm”  she says to him, as he stuffs his face with eggs. Morales grabs Ja, and Merissa by their legs and holds them in the air, “Alright that's enough!” He yells. As they all sit there together having a joyful morning something across the world has begun to take shape. 

Location: Japafri, In a nearby woods a sinkhole forms where does this hole lead too?
