Jesus Christ, my saviour and my sheperd

I always sing the first few but forget the last part

Why do I look around for help when You're on my side?

Jeremiah speaks of Your plans to prosper me but foolishly I think of what kind

Marvelling at the thought of the mesmerizing view of a towering house

Although, these things are not evil but You're good creation

They were soiled by my worldly imagination

Despite all this, You still forgive me when I come to Your feet

You see the rotten state of my mind and just say to Your child and follower,

"Follow Me!"

Your illuminating love has not only helped me see the truth,

but forever assures me that You are with me.

Faith is as simple as 2+2 when I imagine how painful and desparate my life would be
