Damn

I did't expect this at all. The one person who has been staring at me for weeks is now standing in front of me. Let's just keep it calm, keep on smiling and maybe he'll just order somthing and go back to his seat, or even better leave the shop.

" Do you want to order something or are you looking for any book in particular sir?" I say giving him my best smile. But he doesnt answer he just stares at me. Dude if you're just gonna stand there than leave. Jesus. But I gotta give it to him up close he looks even better.

If from far away he looks good, than upclose  he is extremely handsome. Not to mention he is really tall at least a whole foot taller than me, and im average...5'4 and a half to be honest but for me I think that is a perfect hight. He has gotta be at least 6 feet tall. Has raven black hair and beautiful brownish hazel eyes, that im pretty sure when the sun is hitting at the right angle, it gives off a golden hue. Sharp jaw, handsome face, every one will fall for a face like that. Maybe even me.

"Hmmm im not sure yet but can I get a black coffee please?" He finally spoke. Oh. His voice is nice, its making me blush a bit.

"Sure will that be all?"

"Yeah that will be it".

I ring him up, he pays and leaves happily with his drink but before he steps out he turns around.

" See yah again soon." And he leaves with a smile on his face. I think I saw some pink on his cheeks too.

Wow, just wow.

 One, he is hot. Two, has an amazing voice. And three, did he just say he will see me again soon. What does that mean? It must mean that he is coming back to relax in the shop. Definantly not for me right? Who knows, maybe he was probably just being polite? But gosh my face is cherry red right now. I hope he didn't  see my bright as a tomato face. That would be so embarrasing.

" Hey Dakota, it's almost time to close should we start picking up. Also why is your face red again?" It was Micah, and Hazel was right behind her as well.

" Nothing important."

" Nothing important my ass. What happened?" I don't answer her question and turn around to also get the place ready to close." Fine if you won't tell me I'll find out some how."

After finishing up and saying goodbyes for the night, I call Shary. "Hey I need a drink, lets got get something to eat while we're at it. It's on me. There something I have to tell you about you know who." 

" Alright send me the adress and Ill see you there." She replies than hangs up.

Oof. Im tired but I really wanna spill the tea to her about today.

" Hello?"

" Yo Mav, where are you?"

" I just go home from the book shop, why?" Maverick answered.

" Dont tell me you where there oogling at the person you mentioned last time?"

He wasn't wrong. I just so happened to stumble across the shop one day and lord behold someone caught his eye. Now he just has to figure out to get that persons number.

" Maverick, have you told you parents about the break up?" I knew he'd call me for that. How annoying.

" Walker, its none of their business plus I had no feeling for someone who is only with me for business and money. So I broke it off. Sure she was pissed and spouted nonesense but honestly I don't care. Now Im gonna hang up."

I put my phone down on the counter and poured myself a glass of wine.

" So, his name is Dakota huh? What a cute name for someone who also looks cute."
