The sunflowers in the yard shone like sunshine. There was a cheerful little girl who loved nature. Her name was Torikou.

Torikou lived with her mother, father, and brother. She loved reading books and often went outside the house to play with her brother by the mountainside. Painting and drawing made her happy. She read books beside her brother. Her brother’s name was Thomas, and what made him happy was reading and doing martial arts. Thomas’ presence gave the feeling of protection. You’d feel safe around him. He was an enduring person who loved challenges. He had brown hair and an athletic build. He also wore eyeglasses.

Their mother’s name was Chastity while their father’s name was Morris. Morris would leave home for work in airship design and when he arrived, he would spend time with them, reading with Thomas, and teaching Torikou drawing. Morris was a responsible and caring father. Around him, he’d always care and listen. He was also a good teacher, teaching the children things they didn’t understand in books. The family would spend their nights by the bonfire and camp beside their house, listening to the river's flow, and Chastity would sing for the family. She would also teach Thomas martial arts. Torikou was a beautiful girl just like her mother. She had very shiny eyes and long eyelashes. She had lush, wavy, brown hair and a smooth complexion. She would always touch her hands with the river water and forest leaves.  

The family had a wonderful life. Soon later, Thomas graduated college and became a soldier. He spent months away from home. Then a few years later, things changed.
