Lia begins collecting berries from the berry bushes nearby the honey trees. She picks strawberies, blueberries and raspberries. She only stops when her three small and light brown woven containers are full.
Lia walks over to a honey tree and knocks lightly on the trees. "Bees, Bees come please." Lia says softly.
Layla is standing by, leaning on a tree without a beehive and carefully watching Lia work. She has her hand on her hilt, ready to strike anything that gets in the princesses way. "Why do you always say "Bees, Bees come please." whenever we harvest berries and honey?" Layla asks interested about Lia's habit.
"It's an ancient tradition, that has been past down from generation to generation. It's said, though I don't know if it's true, that the first ever elf said that exact wording and lightly tapped the tree with his right hand in order to gathering honey." Lia responds, while patiently waiting for the bees to come out.
"Wow, so it's not historically accurate?" Layla says in response, looking intrigued.
"Yeah, I guess... That's also called an anachronism by the way." Lia answers, correcting Layla.
The Bees finally come out and "say hi" by the wiggling their behinds.
"I'm going to collect to jars of honey." Lia tells the Bees and absentmindedly starts to hum.
The bees commence by doing a fun dance in responce.
Lia understands the bees. "Okay, I'll make sure to stay away from there today." She says mindfully, yet only she and the Bees know what Lia's talking about.
Lia begins gathering honey and continues humming this soft melody.
Lia finishes filling 2 medium glass jars full of honey. "Thank you for the honey." She says politely and bows.
The bees noded their heads and it seemed like they were softly saying goodbye.
Lia then turns away and goes about walking over to Layla.
She notices something weird out in the distance and points it out to Layla. "Look, there's something weird in that meadow over there." Lia says, pointing towards the speck in the distance and then she begins to leads the way to this big grassy meadow. Layla follow as it's her job to protect the princess.
