"Okkk..., Mom. I'll go." Lia responds, she is a pale skinned girl with sky blue hair and blue eyes. Then she goes outside from her treetop palace with her Mother.

They both see the beautiful fall colors outside the treetop palace. "Wow, Mom. The leaves are so pretty today." Lia says, gazing at the red and orange colored leaves on the ground. The palace was a hollow tree that was around a million years old. The tree was alleged to be planted by the first elf. The tree next to them has a giant rectangular platform in the grass, the size of a football field. This field is called the Sparring Ring. There are two Elves sparing there, it looks to be the captain of the royal guards and the Lieutenant, also known as second in command of the guards. They stop sparring and the lieutenant walks away. 

The captain of the guard walks over. The captain of the guard also happens to be her best friend and bodyguard. Her name is Layla and she has light brown skin and black hair, she also has hazel eyes and is taller than Lia. Kayla bowed and said: "All hail, your Majesty and her grace, princess Lia."

"Oh, stop it!" Lia playfully teases Kayla and they both burst out laughing. 

"You really don't have to be so formal with me, Bestie." Lia says and they begin to laugh again.

"Layla, I have duty today. So... can you come with me, please?" Lia whispers, whilst poking Layla's shoulder repeatedly.

After successfully recruiting Layla, Lia returns to her room in the Treetop palace to grab a plain brown woven basket with a nice handle. She then leaves for the forest with Layla in toe.

The walk wasn't very long, but the path was very windy. The walk took about 20 minutes and the leaves were crunching nicely underfoot.
