Seasonal Noises

This is something that has been annoying me for the past few weeks: some noise or another will wake you up in the morning. And it tends to be seasonal. Winter is people warming their engines for, I swear, HOURS. And it's not all that cold here. Spring is the WEIRDEST birds I've ever heard (with the most repetitive calls EVER), and Summer is the cicadas. Now, the first week or so, they were kinda neat. It was the OMG I'm in Japan and it's summer time! Week two began with "gee, they're kinda loud" and this week was "ARRRGGG even with the doors closed I CAN STILL HEAR THEM". So yes.
(at this point I hadn't heard any Fall noises yet, as this was partway through my first year in Japan)

I'm sensitive to noises, and birds and neighbors vacuuming their cars or running motors annoys me quite a bit!
