The terrain slowly changes from a small grove to a very grassy meddow. The grass reaches about halfway up Lia's calf. The grass seems a bit shorter for Layla, reaching slightly a quarter of the way above her calf. As they get close, it's easy to realize that the speck is alive, but still hard to tell whether or not they are a human or an elf.
They are now right over the young man...
Lia can now tell that they are very much a human. It's also easy to identify his features now that they are so close. He has olive skin, short brown hair and freckles. He wearing navy blue shorts, a torn black and light blue style tye-dye t-shirt and he also has brown hiking boots on. Lia notices that he has a deep gash on his lower leg. She examines the wound and seems pretty worried about his condition. Lia tries to get him to stand, even though Layla is insisting that they should leave immediately. The gash is so bad that the guy can't walk and has to have something or someone to lean on.
Lia picks up her basket in the intent to leave, but the guy desperately clings to her shoulder.
Lia takes one look at him and then back at Layla. "He might die! I don't want that to happen to anyone. Please, just this once! I'll make sure not to tell mom that you were involved." Lia pleads to Layla.
"Oh fine, but just this once." Layla says begrudgingly, and finally sets about helping Lia and the guy.
Layla thinks for a moment, then says something else. "Let's tell the doctor that he's an elf, ok?"
It's 16 year old, Lia's rotation to pick berries and honey in the forest. When she saw an unknown young man laying in a meadow. He looked famished and had an injured leg, she brought him to the village. This was not a recommended action, but she is the princess of the Tree village.
