This way of sitting is called "seiza" and while it's fine for 5 minutes, I have really wonky legs, and sitting in ANY FORM, legs straight out, cross-legged, anything --- make my legs go numb. So, KNEELING is the worst thing ever ^_^;;; I used to do it a lot in Aikido, when I was younger, but man, I haven't done it recently. And in a Yukata, there is (literally) no wiggle room. So no slipping the legs to the side, or shifting, nope, nothing. That thing holds you in place ^_^
So yeah, the pain towards the end just pretty much becomes intolerable. And then I had to wait 6 minutes before I could even think about walking again ^_^;;;
