The end of the story is that I did get out of the clothes all on my own, but it was pretty embarrassing ^_^;;; Essentially, it went on just fine, but then it kinda got stuck and as I started to panic, I started to sweat, which didn't help, and there's barely room to stand in the dressing rooms, etc etc.
But yeah. Stupid as all heck that the dress was attached so you couldn't try on the jacket unless you put on the dress first.
Also, I love that, in Japan, you have to take off your shoes to go into the dressing room. it shows there's someone in there and it keeps it clean.
