This is the one that always gets me... As to spirit Ariel's question, genie Ariel is also a spirit of sorts, one wrapped up in incredible magical force. As such, when she starts feeling bad about something, it can manifest in different ways. In this case, the rainbow of sparkles in her shroud stop shimmering.
The name Kaylee should be familiar to anyone following all of my works - she shows up in the robot girl story KIT Mecha-ala!
Andrea, on the other hand, is from another story that will be arriving very shortly (at the time of writing) called Embrace of the Ocean. This is a 3-chapter novel piece I wrote in a few days while working on Remembering Ariel. It proved so influential to my works that it altered the trajectory of this comic while it was in progress! It was first to establish the friendship between these seemingly unrelated characters! These last 3 pages in particular were affected by the story.
