'We'll see, Angus!' Kuro thought, focused on him as he clutched his Ultra Ball. He then threw it. "Go! Ursaring!" 

A bearlike Pokémon with a ring on its stomach roared in a battle cry. Angus followed suit, sending out a Simisage!

A referee was in between the two. He had green hair and brown skin. He waved his flags. "Battle begin!" 

"Simisage, use Throat Chop!" Angus commanded. Simisage's hand formed into a karate chop. It glowed black with a white core. 

"Ursaring! Use Trailblaze!" 

Ursaring dashed at full speed, glowing green. They collided into each other, pushing each other back. Ursaring's Speed went up by one stage. 

Kuro said, "Now use Slash!" Ursaring's claws glowed white. It then slashed at Simisage,leaving a trail of energy behind.

Angus huffed. "Use Gunk Shot and poison it!" 

Simisage formed a purple trash can full of trash in its hand. It then fired it at the Hibernation Pokémon, poisoning it. Kuro smirked, "Shouldn't have done that. Ursaring has Guts as its ability! Now let's use Aerial Ace!" 

Ursaring ran and jumped in the air, clear and white streaks surrounding it. Then... SLASH! It swiped its claws at Simisage twice, fainting it. 

"Simisage is unable to continue," the ref declared, waving his flags. "Ursaring wins, and the victory goed to Kuro!" 

Angus extended his hand out. "I got a little carried away with the confidence there. Sorry about that." 

"You're good, Angus." The two shook each other's hands.
