First up was Drewson vs. Crystal. Their Key Stones glinted in the 1:00 sunrise. Drewson looked at her Mega Stone "Ah, you seem experienced. Won't go so easy on you." He took out a Friend Ball. "Go get 'em, Manectric!" 

Crystal took out an Pokê Ball studded with sapphire. "Go! Lucario!" 

The ref shouted, "Begin!" 

Drewson commanded, "Manectric, use Charge Beam!" 

The Discharge Pokémon fired a yellow beam with a white core at Lucario, its Special Attack rising by one stage. Drewson smirked a bit. "Hmm. Hope you're prepped for what happens next." 

Crystal grunted. "Lucario, use Bone Rush!"

Lucario made a blue, elongated bone out of energy. It started charging towards Manectric with malicious intent. (This is gonna hurt!)

"Use Snarl!" Drewson commanded. Manectric snarled, releasing red-and-black soundwaves towards the Aura Pokémon. 

"Dodge, then strike!" she said, thinking on her feet. Lucario dodged it and struck Manectric twice with its energy bone, knocking HP down to a 1/4!

Drewson gritted his teeth. 'Damn. How can she and Lucarion be so in sync?' he thought. 'Time to make use of that Special Attack boost and end this!'

He pressed his Key Stone, which is on a brace. "Mega Evolve!"

Crystal thought, 'Guess I gotta follow suit!' She pressed hers as well. 

"Mega Stone, hear my plea. Let our bonds reach full potential. Mega Evolve!" 

Lucario and Manectric have Mega Evolved to their respective forms, ready for a gruesome brawl betwixt the two powered-up beasts.

"Lucario, use Aura Sphere!" Crystal commanded. 

'Manectric, use Overheat!" Drewson called out. Manectric formed some fire around itself. With a roar, it then fired a pulse of heat as an attempt to collide with Lucario's attack. But the blue ball was too strong, then... KABOOM! 

The dust cleared; Manectric was out cold. Drewson was taken aback. "Dammit. But...but how the fuck?"

The referee declared, "Manectric is unable to battle! Lucario wins, and the victory goes to Crystal!" 

He sighed and returned his Manectric to its Ball. "I'm just gonna go get drown out my sorrow with some rocky road... I'm gone."
