Lady Shamhat is the leader of Luitol, a town created for the precious blood individuals. She handed down laws that must be followed.

A public execution is set to be done today for attempting to overthrow the committee, Lady Shamhat will attend, followed by the committee members.  The execution would be done through special needs depending on the situation; in this case, the execution would be quite special.

Lady Shamhat wanted order in the world, she wanted to rule and raise order past the borders of Choshire. By exploring the Choshire Bridge and beyond, she believes she'd encounter new power and new boundaries to control. So do the committee members, they all wanted to see their dear Lady Shamhat rule.

"There's a dress code for today's execution, but why did they try to overthrow... the committee of all things?" a man spoke. 

A man attending the execution was dressing up for the event, when a major crime is committed within Luitol, many people are required to join. "You are to see the works of art displayed by Lady Shamhat," that's what the invitation had written. 

A woman next to him was also dressing up to present herself at the public execution, "I believe so. They wanted to overthrow the committee out of foolishness, damned outsiders," she said in an angered tone.

Lady Shamhat has a committee member complete executions, one of the members is assigned by Lady Shamhat herself. As time grew closer to execution, the man walked toward the shrine, where the criminal would be executed for his grave crime. 

Time was passing by, people were dressing up, and everyone was on their way to the event. Executions are one of the biggest events for many within Luitol, the pride of Luitol is death upon those who will not abide. Death feeds the town of Luitol more than any sort of food or nutritional item. 

The shrine was prepared and the ritual was about to begin. Lady Shamhat wore a small red dress, while men wore black suits, and other women wore long red dresses. Lady Shamhat stood atop everyone, next to a throne. She had words prepared for those who attended, "Death. Luitol's culture was built upon bloodshed, even before our times. We shall be proud of who we are and embrace our culture," she declared. 

"The document of Luitol does not lie. Breaking the law set upon the grand Lady Shamhat is worthy of death, the ritual of execution in Luitol will feed her your blood. Attempting to overthrow an important part of Luitol will not be overlooked by any means or conditions," a committee member spoke.

A man was revealed inside a cage handcuffed, beaten, scratched, and bleeding. The man was barely conscious, seeing his audience he stared at the ground with the remaining force he had within him. Everyone saw the man in disgust, they wanted him dead, they wanted him to suffer more, and it was going to happen. 

Lady Shamhat sat on her throne as a committee member brought a set of tools, "I shall commence the ritual of execution. Upon Lady Shamhat's order." The committee has chosen the third act for execution.

The ritual of execution in Luitol had acts scripted by previous generations, there were five acts within the ritual. The third one was one of the most brutal acts, the script would be done and showcased to many of the citizens of Luitol.

The committee member took out a nail clipper, "The third act shall start," the committee member declared in front of the audience. One by one, each nail would be taken out completely, with the remaining amount of energy the man had, he'd scream less for each nail, as if he began even losing the ability to scream. His eyes were bloodshot red, sweat was all over his body, and his body discharged. Once all the nails came out, the second part of the third act began.

A sword would carefully cut through the elbow, breakthrough, and take off most of the arm. The man couldn't react to all the torture. The act would continue, and the second arm would receive the same treatment. 

The amount of blood sprayed all over the committee members and stage, the final part of the act began. The final part would be to let rats consume the body, while the man was barely alive. The audience watched for hours as the rats consumed each piece of the well-deceased body. 

The third act ended and Lady Shamhat stood up from her throne as everyone started clapping, "Death is the solace of Luitol. I am so delighted with the state of our town, our power is beyond human, and we shall not be doubted. The ritual of execution is proper and eloquent, any who shall defy our power, will be subject to these consequences," she declared in a strong tone. Her face was neutral, her demeanor did not change while anything occurred. 

The remains of the man were left in the cage along with the rats, Lady Shamhat, the committee members, and the citizens had all left by nighttime. The cage remains in front of the shrine to commemorate the event.

The next day in Choshire looked different, for both citizens of Luitol, and Kezdar and Lilian. While Luitol prepared for warfare, the two in Kens would be waking up from a long sleep, unaware of their friend Enkita being arrested earlier. But they didn't wake up naturally, "Open up. We have been sent for interrogation by order of the Elora committee, if the door is not opened, we shall use any force available," a few men, who appeared to be military knocked loudly.

Lilian rushed to the door while barely awake, "Hands up. You'll be coming with us toward the military district, have your friend join us as well," one of them declared.

"Why? What? Huh? I just woke u-" Lilian questioned as she raised her hands. 

The military man pushed her onto the ground, "Enkita. The person you brought here is a possible danger, and you two attempted to bring him toward a demilitarized zone. Terrorists, that's what we name you," they declared in an angered tone.

"What the fuck are you doing to her!?" Kezdar quickly rushed toward them and hit one of them, however; they were way stronger, one of the military men punched his face and threw him across the ground. "Any attempt at disobeying rule is bound for execution. You heard of the execution rituals of Luitol? I am not afraid to do that to you," the man stated.

Lilian had a few scratches on her knees, Kezdar was left with a scar and bleeding all over his face, as they were both being taken into custody. They were treated harshly for the suspicion of being related to possible terrorism within a peaceful town. 

Kens was not known for terror, warfare, or even royalty and strict rules. They just wanted to live among all the chaos in the world of Choshire, they did not involve themselves in any conflict, and to void that would be to go against the entire town. 

[ Military District, Kens ]

While Kens wasn't part of any warfare, they held a strong military to defend themselves and look strong against possible conflict. They didn't want to seem like a small defenseless town, they still had their own priorities, but they weren't nearly as distraught as the beliefs of other towns.  

They had to take strong measures against any possible threats to their peace, but these measures were overlooked by the ruler Azura. There were no royalties, everyone was equal in the town of Kens, and even those with some control had no more power than the average citizen. 

Kezdar and Lilian had been put in a big room within the military district, but they didn't expect what was about to happen.  A blue robe covered his body, a flute could be heard from a distance, and a tall man of older age walked inside the room. That old man they judged from the inside was none other than the ruler of Kens, Azura. 

The room was akin to a restaurant but there were no servers, no food, simply tables and desks. It seems as if the place was being used as a holding room for suspects, but it looked nothing on the part. 

Kezdar and Lilian did not speak a word, they had expressions of shock as they watched the man sit in front of them. "I am happy to see the two of you for once. I apologize for the inappropriate treatment our men left you. It was a misunderstanding created by the unknown, that was solved by a text left by our ancestors," Azura spoke to them.

"Elora informed me of your visit. We appreciate your contributions to Kens and while the men will not be punished, I will be granting you access to Luitol, under one condition. The murder of Lyririe's commander," Azura declared. 

Kezdar and Lilian were shocked enough to see one of the biggest figures in Choshire and even more when they heard the condition given to them.  "I am sorry ruler. I understand your condition, but that seems sudden... is there a reason as to why kill him?" Lilian asked while in shock.

"Enkita has a special power within his Harpe. The commander of Lyririe is after that power, however; that power is linked to Kens. Earlier today, as you two were arrested, we were made known of it. The piece of paper was old, it explained many things about Harpe, and upon further research. We came to the conclusion this afternoon that Enkita had unknown powers that could crumble the entirety of our town if given to the wrong hands, which is why with the knowledge we have, our best course of action is to murder the commander of Lyririe," Azura declared while showing off the scripture, which appeared to be torn out from a book. 

Kezdar jumped out of his seat, "Enkita? What? Shit man, well uh, wait... how do you know he's after Enkita? I don't really understand this paper but yeah he captured Enkita before claiming it was for laws or somethin' but this? What the hell.." Kezdar was confused.

Azura stood up, "Enkita will be here shortly. He is aware of the condition as well, consider this a deal, rather than a ruling. All of you will be able to follow your everlasting journey from here on if you decide to accept our condition; however, if you do not accept we are forced to keep Enkita within our confine to ensure the safety of Kens," Azura gave them options, but they felt very one-sided. 

Kezdar and Lilian stared at each other, with no real choice. They agreed to the conditions set upon by Kens, regardless of how hard it sounded, they already had to deal with the commander some way or another, but now they were forced to end his life. That way Kens could end their own conflict without involving themselves.

The everlasting journey really won't start until they reach Luitol, but will it be as easy as it may seem? Will there be trouble ahead? Will the warfare create more conflict for Kens? They had no way to tell what could happen in the following days.
