Kuro stepped on the field. He had his Poké Balls at the ready. 'Alright, Crystal. Let's see whatcha got. Give it your all. Do not hold back!' he thought, focusing his garnet eyes on her.

'Your team is going down, Kuro! I like you as a person, but still, I'm gonna whip your Pokémon up and down this dusty, tan field!' she thought, adjusting her blue dress. 

The ref stood up, ready to announce the rules. "The rules will be different; it'll a be a 3-on-3 battle. You can use Mega Evolution, Terastalizatlion, or Z-Moves, no more than one of the three."

Crystal was confused. 'Terastalization? What the hell is that?' she thought. She looked on her phone, seeing the info on said power-up. 'I-I don't have a Tera Band though...'

Kuro tossed a Poké Ball. "Go! Corsola!" he called out, sending out a Galarian Corsola. 

"Corsola!" It let out a cry in glee, kinda sounding like Misty's Johtonian Corsola. His Galarian Corsola has a pink bow, implying its Female. 

Crystal tossed hers. "Go! Lycanroc!" 

She sent out a Midnight Lycanroc, a red, lycanthrope-like Pokémon. "Ly-caaan!" it howled, letting out a piercing cry into the skies. 

Kuro thought, 'Better watch out with Corsla, given that it's a Ghost-type. Lycanroc, despite it being a Rock-type, can carry Sucker Punch or Throat Chop.' 

The ref waved his red and green flags. "Battle begin!" 

Crystal started out with her command. "Lycanroc, use Stone-Edge!" 

"Lyyyy-caaaan!" he growled, punching the ground, causing sharp-grey stones to protrude from the ground trail at Corsola. 

"Counter with Shadow Ball!" he retorted. Corsola formed a black-and-purple ball with streaks or purple electricity, countering the sharp rocks, causing an explosion! 

Crystal started thinking, 'Corsola packs a punch, despite it being a pre-evolved form. I'd knock it over, but I like playing with my food.' 

"Use Iron Head!" she called out. Lycanroc's crest turned into shiny steel, hten... CLANG! It slammed its head into the Coral Pokémon, causing it to flinch and shed a few tears!

"Now, let's follow up with Fire Fang!" she shouted. Lycanroc's fangs became cloaked in an orange fire. it then began charging towards Corsola. 

But then... She became cloaked in a blue light, causing the Wolf Pokémon to stop in its tracks. Everyone looked in awe. "I-It's evolving!" 

The blue light goes awy. Galarian Corsola evolved into Cursola! Kuro took out his Pokédex. The device gave him the info on said creature. "Cursola, the Coral Pokémon, and the evolved form of Galarian Corsola. Its shell is overflowing with heightened overworldly energy. The ectoplasm serves as protection for this Pokémon's core spirit," 

"That won't stop us! Lycanroc, use Throat Chop!" 

Lycanroc's front paw glows black with a white core. It then charges at  the Ghost-type, but little-known fact, she's got something on her hands. Cursola fired a pulse of water at Lycanroc, drowning it, and dropping its HP all the way down to 0! 

Ref waved the green flag. "Lycanroc is unable to go on. Cursola is the winner!" 

Kuro returned her to her Poké Ball. 'You did a good job. Take a rest." 

Crystal threw an Ultra Ball with all her might! "Go! Ninetales!" she called out, sending out an Alolan Ninetales. It started scratching its ear with its right paw. 

'I could go with Rillaoom, but Ninetales will malice it in one hit,' he started pondering. 

He threw a Poké ball, sending out an Ursaring. Ursaring let out a piercing roar! "RAWR!" 

Ninetales roared at the sky, causing snow to fall down. Kuro thought, 'It's Snow Warning. Let's just hope it doesn't carry Blizzard. One hit of that, and I'm fucked!' 

"Ninetales, use Extransensory!" she commanded. The Fox Pokémon opened its mouth, sending rays of magenta towards its opponent, causing it to flinch. 

"Ursaring! Use Traillaze!"

Ursaring glowed green. It performed a speedy tackle at Ninetales, doing chip damage but raising its Speed by one stage, making it first in the priority bracket. 

"Now, use Slash, Ursaring!" Kuro commanded, punching the sky! The bearlike assailant's claws glowed white. It charged at Ninetales and slashed at it, causing the foxlike Pocket Monster to lose more HP!

"Use Blizzard!" she cried. Ninetales made a blizzard at Ursaring, knocking it down to a 1/4 of its HP. The being with the ring on its belly struggled to get up. It finally rose on its feet. 

"We still have Champion energy, Crystal! Alrught, Ursaring. Use Shadow Claw!" 

Ursaring's claws were coated in a black-and-purple, clawlike aura as it ran on mostly fours to its foe. Crystal said, 'Counter with Draining Kiss, Ninetales!" 

Ninetales charged towards Ursaring with the same attempt, but before it could ly a peck on it... GASH! Ursaring swiped its claws at its neck, ending the long battle betwixt the two. The snow ended on its fifth and final turn as well. 

"Ninetales is unable to continue! ursaring is the winner!" the ref in white soccer attire declared. 'Now, Crystal has one more Pokémon, whereas Kuro has three!" 

Kuro took his Poké Ball that Charizard is kept in. Lucario stepped on the field, ready. Kuro tossed his Poké Ball. "Charizard!" 

His dragonlike Pokémon let out a roar while breathing fire at the sky and flapping its wings, ready for for battle. It then breathed smoke from its nose. 

Crystal thought, 'Probs gonna lose this one; Fire beats...' 

Smoke bombs littered the field. They exploded purple smoke, clouding the field. Ash gasped, "Kuro! Crystal!" 

That same resemblance of Amethio was there as the smoke cleared. He was on a Corviknight, whereas his Shiny Ceruledge was on his side. "Give me all your Pokémon, and no one gets hurt!" 

Kuro raised his right eyebrow. "I was expecting Team Rocket to do this, not some girly-haired fuck in a suit. Who are you anyway?" 

"I'm Amatisto, leader of the Explorers," he introduced himself. His tone changed to angry. "And I'm not a damn girl!" 

The Aura Warriors are ready to face their first villain as a team. Is Amatisto a strong one, or is he gonna be an easy-to-beat, Saturday-morning cartoon villain? Find out next time!
