"Did I die, also why is that person so fast? why did they attack us?"
Henry thinks to himself while he looks up unwillingly and faces the raining arrows who flew towards some almost hitting him.
"Where might destiny lead me? Will I be roborned, perhaps as a different person" I continued to rant about my expected death; its approach felt gradual. My vision, fixed yet immobile, granted me glimpses of an obscured figure. Before me stretched a somber sky, shrouded in darkness with no land in sight, only billowing smoke.
Amidst the eerie silence, distant screams echoed and a very unique vision were I never saw before, and feelings not once I've felt.
Then suddenly my eye moved and there I realized. Crimson Red scattered throughout my limited vision, I quickly knew that I was not in control and after some moments it moved once again giving my an another point of view.
But instead of being grateful to see other things it gave me disgust knowing that I was standing on a pile of corpses with a river of blood surrounds all along.
My ability to smell returned where thes stenchs I smelled where too real for this to be only a dream, my body won't move if I wanted too but only if the person I'm in decides to.
So maybe I'm only here only to witness, to see, hear, smell, or reflect?
Right infront me in a volley far away where a group of people who wore black armor which are seem to be fighting against with those who wore white, but no they are not. One might overlook such thing but this is different they are marching, marching towards me?
"Hey person please move, you will die if you wont," I screamed but knew it is going to be in vain.
"Please move!" The person I am in is only watching them, not moving as if he had already given up its life. "Do you want the be trampled! move!" I continued on yelling, bursting out all my emotions not giving up in order to save the person.
And then suddenly that same person cried and replied to me with a very weak voice, "I know, but I can't"
The person replied atlas to Henry, he talked like a hopeless little rubble waiting to be crushed by something more bigger. The group of people got even closer no within the Valley full of lifeless bodies and where they currently stood on.
But instead of feeling something towards the hopeless person, Henry did not mind those who are charging towards them but instead focused on the person reply where he noticed something, something peculiar.
He became aware of the way the person talked, also it's voice, for him it felt as if they are similar.
Henry quickly asked him"Wait your voice, it's familiar. Are you -"
Before Henry can complete my sentence, he was slashed down by the group who then continued to run past forward leaving him again lifeless on the ground.
"Did I die twice?" Henry asked himself again not able to see, feel nor hear. He is alone once again but it was changed when suddenly a gleam of light appeared from the unending void, and then.
Henry awakens once more, this time with control over his eyes, sensations returning, and the ability to move.
"Where am I?" he wonders, eyes opening to a view of a golden chandelier overhead.
The comfort of an incredibly soft bed cradles him, and the cool breeze caresses his face
I surveyed my surroundings, taking in the open window and immaculate materials that seemed foreign to my eyes.
Attempting to rise, I was initially thwarted by an unexpected wave of dizziness.
"How long have I been lying down to feel this disoriented?" I mused to myself while noticing something about the white shirt I currently wore. I touched the fabric of my clothes and felt warmth, and texture I have not felt on all the clothes I previously wear.
Before me, the royal cabinet stood, a quiet allure emanating from its shelves. Unique books adorned the space, their covers a testament to an unknown language.
Upon my dizziness had minimized a faced the window at my right with less texture to the shelf in front of me. I stood up and tried to peek outside.
Peeking through the window, I was met with the sight of a remarkably advanced town. Sleek buildings reached for the sky, and despite trying my best and kept on looking up it just won't stop. Peeking outside a window where it seemed the material used are a clean, bright-colored walls that dazzled without blinding.
And while continuing looking around and limited to a few view, finnaly I can see other things other than the moving boxes in front of me but real people!
Those people came into view, I peeked further in the window with caution and asked, "Where am I?" I spoke in a manner intended to allay any fear.
"What do you mean, young one? You find yourself in the Kingdom of Power, and more specifically, within the Residence of Power." The elderly man who responded appeared slightly puzzled by my inquiry, his confusion etched on his face.
Kingdom of Power?
The Residence of Power? My face gets puzzled as his words felt a bit nonsensical to me, but I just let his answer go and trusted him with his answer.
"I suppose that sheds some light on my question, but nonetheless, thank you."
I went back inside and sat back down beside the bed and continued to let my wander.
Henry looks like a statue everytime he tries to think. But his pose was quickly interrupted as he started to hear footsteps and felt something.
He's thoughts also got silent and tries to take his practiced stance facing the door in front of him. And when the door knob twisted slowly Henry felt a familiar but forgotten feeling.
"What's this? Why is my body telling me to attack, no now it wants me to prepare."
"Have I felt this before?"
"But not right now I must be focused."
After a while the door slowly opens and no sound can be heard. When the door fully opened a figure appeared.
The fear Henry felt made him move out of instinct, he dashed forward again making a small mark.
"No please move, my bodies moving on its own!" He yelled at the person who is just watching him and was not fazed.
He continued to look at Henry who is now a feet away from him but swiftly, he deflected his punch made him stand up in a normal stance.
"Huh?" Henry's thoughts escaped from his mind as without even realizing that the person infront of him is now doing the same stance as him.
But this time instead of pointing his fist forward he only used his index finger.
After he pointed his finger he quickly flicks it and emmited a sound wave but enough to only make Henry staggered backward, the force of the punch sending shockwaves through his body.
The impact resonated with a sickening thud, momentarily disorienting him. His vision blurred, a whirlwind of disarray as he fought to regain his balance.
What the heck was that? Henry thought to himself as he tries to endure the sudden attack.
Who are you and why do you have a similar style as Alexander? Henry yelled to the person but his voice still hints of slight struggle especially the way he talks.
"I'm sorry for the sudden attack. It wasn't my intention to harm you."
Henry, regaining composure: "What was that? Why did you attack me?"
"Your movements triggered a defensive response. My apologies for the confusion. I should have explained before."
"Explain? Who are you, and why did my body react like that?" Henry replied, being cautious and curious.
The defensive mechanism was unintentional, a reflex ingrained in our training. Lastly my name is,
"Axel Dmetrius"
In Henry's eyes where that same person infront of him who wore foreign clothes where a symbol residing on its chest which seems to symbolize the Kingdom he is from.
He shows signs of bravery and strength, and the aura which causes a mimicry of war.
This aura of his is symbol of strength of power he have. He is a man full of mystery and in Henry's eyes, and realized.
'He doesn't have any opening'
Henry processed Axel's revelation in silence before voicing his thoughts, "Axel Dmetrius? I thought Alexander was the sole person of the village who is a Dmetrius. How are you connected to him?" I pointed at him with my left hand while also stepping one foot forward towards. And with my surprise none of my actions fazed him but instead made such a mysterious yet cryptic smile.
He then leaned forward and performs a bow while still showing his smile whilst looking at me. After that this words appear from him:
"I'm afraid there's much more to discover Henry Botch rival of his Highness", He paused finishing his bow and returned to his usual stance and carried on with his formal message,
"His Highness Alexander Dmetrius, The King of Power"
