I'm also really surprised not going to lie. I thought this was going to take longer but I started this whole process back in September.
Yes, I'm still hibernating but I'm not very good at hibernating apparently. I said I wouldn't make a Patreon but I also said I wasn't going to go into self-publishing and look how that turned out? Might as well call myself a liar and move on.
Now, what caused that change? Why did I decide to do this?
You see I made more writer friends and they had the audacity to be supportive and convinced me that I should just try this thing out. How dare they be good friends /j
So, I took the months I was on hiatus to just write and set up this whole thing as well as let myself rest as much as I could. Also, weird stuff kept coming up and I got weirdly social. I don't know how I get into so many weird situations but I will save those story times for the Patreon.
I made it easy for myself and started with 3 tiers; a tier for tipping, an early access tier with life updates, and then a tier where you get bonus content as well as stuff from the previous tiers. Side note: if you love my content here on Tapas and never read any of my content posted on other platforms, you can get access to all the content I have ever posted publicly if you subscribe to any of the tiers and it'll be a more convenient place to get access to everything I've written instead of needing to hunt me down on every platform.
I will update the early access content as soon as I finish writing anything. I am not putting a strict schedule on this thing because I'm still experimenting and want to let myself have room for other things such as my day job and life.
In other news, I will resume updates for "Slow and Speedy Win the Fight" on January 3rd, 2024 as well but if you're impatient the next four chapters of the story are already up on Patreon.
If you can't support me through Patreon, I still very much appreciate you all just for reading my stuff, and never would've imagined people reading my stuff especially since I've been posting content online since I was a young teenager. My writing journey has never been a straight path and that should've been honestly expected. I'm nervous but I'm ready to see how my next steps as a writer will go and hope all of you will be around to join me.
