I'm glad Lily's fine. I went worried when mom called me yesterday night. Andrew would kick the hell out of me if he ever knew that I left his baby sister alone. After all, I'm her friend cum bodyguard appointed by Andrew as he can't stay in the same city as Lily. But that is a story for some other time. 

Post our wrestling match, we were spending some quite quality time watching tv when mom suggested an outing. To say, my eyes lit up would be an understatement. It's been a while I spent an outing with mom. But this time with Lily joining us, it should be quite a fun. 

I immediately nodded my head in excitement, grinning from ear to ear, but I must have looked like as 'a jack in the box clown', like you know, if the spring on my neck broke. Lily's furrowed eyebrows and the mocking smile she has on while watching me says it all.

"Lily, we would love it if you join us too" mom said. Lily turned to look at me and I winked. She smiled and said yes.

"All right then! it's decided. Boys take care of yourself on your ow n. we girls would be out the whole evening." Ivan and Drake groaned in frustration. 

well, well, why not! girls outing in mom's language implies guys taking care of household chores without mom guiding them. If they mess up, they are on their own. ALL THE VERY BEST to my dear brothers.

"You know we are gonna be legends tonight" I said leaning forward in my couch with my palm under my chin as my elbow rested on the armrest, my gaze fixed to Lily eventually increasing my brother's frustration by tenfold. 

Drake got up his seat and started ruffling my head, messing my hair and running out before I could catch him to beat him up. Lily burst into a fit of giggles. I so happy that the smile on her face was back, when I saw her when she woke up, I was terrified what could happen to me if Andrew has seen her in that state. She looked like she's been crying, her eyes puffy and red.

"How about we start for our girls date in half an hour?" Mom asked. 

"Perfect!" this time it was lily who replied instead of me. I can see that she is opening up a little and now excitement clearly written all over her face. With that our trio ran back to our respective rooms and got out within the stipulated time. We got out and ran to mom's car, she's driving, I purposely took the back seat, so Lily is in the passenger side of front seat. Oh my my! With her being in charge of the car stereo, it's sure to bombard. 

"What is our first stop captain?" I enquired earning an ear to ear grin from mom only to hear our favorite beauty parlor and spa, hearing an excited squeak from Lily. We took our sweet time, treating ourselves to the best. we did some waxing, facials, nails, massages and whatnot and its almost sunset by the time we got off. 

Now mom took us to a mall and we are on for a shopping spree. Mom said there might be a party, that I would have to attend, a formal gathering. So, I dragged Lily to party wear section hoping she too might have to attend it as she is Andrew's sister, where we started flipping the displays and trying our likes on, waiting for others to try their dresses on, giving and receiving feedbacks-finally settling on couple of dresses for final billing.

While mom was settling our dresses' on the counter, to be set aside for billing later I noticed Lily groaning at her mobile. I peeked through her shoulder. She was dialing her brother. I dragged her from there to the section of tops and tees. we shopped more and more and more until its limit for our trunk to hold. Later, we went to a restaurant and had a heartful meal. 

Smiling, giggling, laughing and grinning we reach home almost midnight. We got off the car too tired to carry our shopping bags back to our rooms. Leaving the task for later, I went ahead to ring the door bell, no answer! I did again and again when mom sighed loud and took out a spare key from her purse. 

Thankful, that she had a spare key, we waked in to a jaw dropping scenario ahead. 

Aha! The boys sure had fun. Mom's favorite vase that never leaves the center table is now actually at the wall, it definitely rolled down the way to the wall as it left a trail of flower petals and leaves along the way, the center table is completely covered with various take away boxes, empty cans of beverages were carelessly rolling along the carpet around the center table. 

The only source of light is television which is still on and its volume is too high for our liking, playing, oh! I better not get there. Ivan and Drake are something, seriously! I immediately put the lights on and shut the television. 

I peek from the corner of my eye to see my mom seething with anger. I can literally see smoke rising from her head. with a huff, mom took long strides to her room and shut the door with a loud thud. I went to Ivan and Drake attempting to wake them up. 

Ivan has spread himself on the sofa with his guitar on his right side and his hand lazily resting on it. His other arm is on his forehead. left leg is folded and secured on the sofa and his right leg hanging to the floor. 

Drake on the other hand has the most hilarious sleeping position. His head is hanging down the couch with his legs resting over the head rest, you know spread carelessly, and his arms, resembling the Titanic. 

Lily came to my side, giggling, I looked at her to find a glint of mischief in her eyes that matches the one in my head, and we both nodded our heads in sync, I know what's going on in that little head of my bestie, for we are surely two pea's in a pod. 

I took my mobile out, so did she and we started taking pics of them, well adding a little filters here and there. Once we are done, I was struggling internally whether to clean up this mess or to have them face mom themselves in the morning, when Lily suggested cleaning. okay...okay! 

We took a sweet 30 minutes to freshen up first and clean the living room. I got duvet's from their rooms and threw them over my dear brothers. 

With one last check for any open windows or doors, which thankfully aren't any, we both got to our respective rooms tired and happily ending our day to travel to our dreamland.
