I liked the way it unfolded, from scolding to mentorship kind of love towards the end.
Maybe it's a good idea to hold off on emotional pages? That way it makes them more impactful when they do appear? Like they say lol, less is more sometimes.
Henry Hare, the best blacksmith in the world, is exiled from his village (Deserved), so, since he's at it, he decides to follow and protect a child, Larry Berry, a kid naive to the dangers of the world but with the heart of a hero.
Both will face danger, meet enemies, friends and in bewteen. All to save Larry's village, which is suffering from a terrible and mysterious curse, which is taking the life of his mother and many others.
