Ch.5

I closed my eyes.

I breathed in, inhaling all of my past and looking back. I blew out, exhaling my entire future to look forward to.

I opened my eyes.

The sky now pitch black, the ground rumbling, I could feel everything around me. I stared at Everyone before me, they stared back with fearful eyes wondering what I’ll do next in response to their attack.

“Lance des ténèbres comme forth.” I said aloud. They wondered what I was saying seeing as how I spoke it in French, a spear that was pitch black arose from the ground born of my shadow. Standing on its own black smoke was flowing out from it. Everyone stood in awe. I could feel the effects of my transformation already wearing me down just from this stunt. I reluctantly grabbed it and leaped forward to the main person to cause me trouble, Collin.

If he were able to copy my abilities I would have some trouble for me and I couldn't allow that. I charged at him head first. Jaiden and Kamya leaped in the way, Jaiden whispered something and afterwards a glowing dome formed around them. Kamya created three stone walls in front of the Jaiden’s dome.

Keyshawn and Will jumped out from the dome to do a joint attack. Will had grown tentacles from his back and directed them towards me knowing he was going to try and bind me. I jumped out of the way to change directions, I looked around for Keyshawn but I couldn't see him. Where was he? I then saw a bright light in the corner of my eye, he was charging up a magic strike again. I was about to go into defense but shortly I realized I couldn't move. Grant appeared out of nowhere clapping his hands claiming that they won. He had stopped me in place with his chronokinesis.

Chronokinesis is the ability to control and manipulate time.

The only reason it's working now is cause though he may try to hide it, pouring all his energy and strength into keeping me suspended

I couldn't dodge, I couldn't move, but I could do one thing. I gave myself telekinesis, with that I wouldn't need to move.

OUTSIDE POINT OF VIEW.

amarion appeared to have be glowing his body looked as if it was burning itself to grow… Brighter. Even though he was standing still grant was laughed far away but nothing hit him.

Amarion was free and was on the move. Keyshawn saw this and immediately fired Magic Strike. Unfortunately, he missed. Amarion materialized out of nowhere in front of Keyshawn, amarion looked tired as if he was about to pass out, his eyes soulless and blank. He looked at Keyshawn and tapped his forehead and he was gone.

Keyshawn was nowhere to be found. Will and everyone else realized this isn't a spar but a real fight. Confusion turned into anger and anger grew into power. So they did what anyone would do when an enemy took out their team mate. They took revenge.

A beam of light sprouted out from the sky from within the dome. In a fit of rage, Kamya summoned the full force of nature. Trees grew around her, animals hurdled towards her call, it was as if she was nature itself. She wasn't the only one summoning all their strength, Jaiden began chanting incantations to bind me while everyone initiated their final joint attack.

Will was about to transform but was tapped just like Keyshawn was and he was gone. Collin copied Kamya and they began their joint attack. Jaiden finished his incantations but in order for it to stay in effect he can't move, he yelled at Kamya and Collin for them to hurry up. Collin and Kamya started to glow brighter, their hair now white and their eyes glowing. They resonated off of each other creating infinite energy for them to harness and fire.

They gathered that energy into their fist to charge their attack. Their fists were turning a glowing red, they were burnin. Their bodies couldn't handle all that Circulating energy yet, they couldn't hold on much longer so they unballed their fist, spread their hands, and FIRED.

THE ATTACK LANDED.

Amarion suffered a fatal blow.

He was laying on the ground in pain coughing and bleeding. But he wasn't the only one Kamya and Collins bodies were burning hot. They couldn't move, so tired, the only person that could was jaiden. He marched towards amarion.

Jaiden:

“So how did- pant* we do.? Huff* bitch.”

Amarion:

“Pretty fuckn good- cough* Twink.”

Jaiden:

“....Maggot.”

Amarion:

“WHAAAAAAATTTTTT!!! “

Jaiden:

“Nothing~”

Everyone was moved to the house to be healed by Amarion and Jaiden.

Kamya and Collin awoke first then Grant. After that it was Will and Keyshawn. Amarion explained that he enjoyed everyone's sparring matches but felt he couldn't grasp their limits. In order to find out he needed something to trigger it. He tried to use the leader thing but it didn't work, not even the attempt to instill fear in them, but what really got them was when a friend disappeared in front of their eyes.

Kamya: But what would've happened if we won? Would u actually step down as the person in charge?

Amarion: No. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't…

I talked to the man and woman again.

Collin: WHAT!! When?!

Amarion: A few days ago I tried to see if I could not be in charge and they said no.

Will: Did you ask why?

Amarion: yeah. They said 'cause I'm the fuckn oldest.

Silence~

~Tumbleweed in the back~

Jaiden: … Oh ok. Let's move on.

Amarion: Bitch. Anywho, Adrian what did ya think?

Jaiden: OH MY FUCKING GOD I FORGOT HE WAS HERE!!!
