As the girls and their management team wrap up their drinks and snacks, the air is thick now with purpose as Mr. Park, reflecting the company’s immense pride in its flagship group, prepares to deliver exhilarating news. His voice resonates through the room as he addresses the girls. 

“Girls, I’m overjoyed to announce that ‘Over Flowers’ has soared to number one on the charts today, breaking a new record for Blossom6! This is your sixth song in three years to achieve this milestone in the US and other key territories,” Mr. Park declares. 

Lilly beams, Yoonah cheers, and Suji nods proudly at her teammates. 

Eunji, ever observant, asks the question that lingers in the air, the question all the girls suspect the answer to, “What’s number two?” 

Their Creative Director Ms. Lee hesitates for a moment before revealing, “Number two is ‘Bubblegum’ by ATLAS. They’re really making a splash this year. They’re hot on your heels, neck and neck.” 

A knowing look passes between the girls, an unspoken acknowledgment of the ongoing rivalry with ATLAS and the fierce competition fueled by their passionate fans. Despite both of their respective PR teams trying to spin it as a friendly feud, a subtle tension still hangs in the air. 

Mr. Park, with a throat-clearing pause, scans the eager faces of Blossom6. The room goes quiet as he reveals the details of the Global Responder Exchange program. 

“Ladies, as you know, we have been presented with a unique opportunity to participate in the Global Responder Exchange program,” Mr. Park continues. “And until now, you had no idea what it entails. So, I will hand it over now to Mr. Kim and Ms. Chang to explain.” 

“Yes, girls, I am so excited for us,” Mr. Kim addresses the girls, his eyes glowing with enthusiasm. He lightly taps on his laptop, and the large monitor at the front of the room flickers to life, displaying program details. “This initiative aims to promote international collaboration among first responders, and they have sought Blossom6 to add a touch of glamour and global appeal.” 

Ms. Chang interjects as Mr. Kim continues the slide, “The program stands for unity and shared experiences. It’s a chance for us to engage with international audiences, sharing not only your talents, your brands, but also fostering a sense of community across borders. We’ll be working alongside renowned and fearless individuals around the world during the upcoming weeks as you will also be preparing for the BLOOM tour.” 

“That’s right,” Mr. Kim adds, switching to a new slide, “You will engage in joint activities, participate in training exercises, and be part of various photo ops highlighting the collaboration between the world of entertainment and the world of heroes.”

“While the program will be sporadic,” Ms. Chang says, “We aim to strategically align it with your preparations for the upcoming BLOOM tour. We see this as an excellent chance to merge the narratives. The program’s global initiatives will naturally dovetail into the essence and theme of the tour, creating a seamless connection that amplifies the impact of both.”

At the distinct sound of a person joining the virtual meeting rings out, the girls look at the screen, where a friendly, feminine face smiles at them. 

“Girls, meet Dr. Jisoo Kang,” Mr. Kim enlarges the screen, introducing the dark-haired woman who has now joined them virtually. “Dr. Jisoo Kang, this is Blossom6.” 

The girls all bow in greeting as the woman on the screen smiles warmly. 

“Dr. Jisoo Kang is the Global Director of this program, and she is a respected figure known for her dedication to international cooperation in emergency response,” Ms. Chang says, “Dr. Kang will guide us through this journey, ensuring that Blossom6 becomes the beacon of unity, showcasing the harmony between those who save lives and those who inspire them.” 

Dr. Jisoo Kang speaks to the room about the program and what her involvement will entail, then Mr. Kim adds, “Your schedules will be thoughtfully crafted to accommodate both the program and your preparations for the BLOOM tour. There will be moments of intense engagement with the program, followed by periods where you can strictly focus on tour preparations. We want to ensure that both commitments receive the attention they deserve.” 

As the meeting unfolds, Mr. Park takes over to outline the narrative they will push to the press. “We’ll emphasize the harmonious collaboration between Blossom6 and first responders from around the world,” he declares. “The narrative is about unity, shared responsibility, and the power of global connections. We want the press to see Blossom6 not just as entertainers but as ambassadors of goodwill, using our influence to bridge worlds and inspire positive change.”
