In the same moment and morning, Jang jump scared himself, after seeing his own reflection in the mirror.
(I hate it when it happens) First he tried to wash the permanent tattoo off with soap. It did not come off. He tried scratching it off with his finger, but it still did not come off. After ten minutes, Jang gave up and decided that he will go to school like that.

With his outfit on, and his backpack being held by his left hand, leaving it hanging like a like a decoration.

Before leaving by the door, Jang looked at the entrance mirror one last time, telling himself that it doesn't even look that bad, slowly amazing himself by checking himself from different angles.

As he walked trought the school hallways, numbers of girls were looking at him, checking him out, from his legs, all the way to his face and his trimmed down hair, which gave him better showcase of his overall head shape. The senior girls and boys started whispering.

"I love how he dresses, it's casual, but somewhat unique"

"Who made it, the lunch lady?"
Laughed a taller student with his friends, which gave Jang a long-lasting demotivation on his current activities and upseted his whole vibe.

When Jang continued his walk, a small group of twelfth grade boys and girls meet their ways with Jang.

One of the boys bumped into him, telling him that he did good in the sports activities, then he laughed his walk away from his, along with his large group of friends that gave Jang a cold look, just like high skies in their eyes.

"Dude, you're so fucking- (chuckles) I can't believe it"

"Ooh (deepns voice to impress the girl friends from their group), you guys worry so much (chuckle) (shows knuckle off to his friend and does a back-punching move with it, imitating he move in a quick shadowbox). One of these and his head will fall away from it's root. Now give my 200, or you are on your own   (extends his hand to collect the money from his friend)  (chuckles)"

Seconds after Jang passed them, he peeked at them with the corner of his eyes, then he changed it back, along with his smile fading away into misery.

As he passed the "popular" hallway, welcoming himself in the boy's bathroom. Jang touched the star on his cheek with his fingers, analyzing it and thinking to himself

"What does it mean, is it a sign, and why is it integrated on my body? Or maybe it's just like these stars on my hands (he changed his eye sight from the mirror, to looking down at both of his hands, where the stars were located, changing his sight from one to another) maybe a power up? (Stomach gurgles) I can't really think on an empty stomach, I have to go to the cafeteria first.

In the Cafeteria, or the high school's restaurant as many students call it, Jang bought some food that he put on his hard plastic plate. As he left the ordering zone, he wanted to go to his table but right when he turned around, a student had bumped shoulder to shoulder with Jang. On the incident, Jang accidentally dropped his plate on the ground, making a total mess.

On his amazenet, no one batted an eye as he thought they would, maybe it was just a scenery. The students started mocking everything they could on Jang with exclaims.

"I would not let that slide to be honest"

"Naah, word, he'd be gone by now if that would be me"

"He's all messed up with potatoes"

"My bad, guy, I'll clean this"
Said Jang doing a slight move with his hands towards the spilled food on the ground.

The boy kneeled down to put the bad food on the plate, picking up the bits and big parts of the remaining food. He picked up that plate with the dirty food on it and the boy offered to pay.

Jang didn't want to accept it, saying that he will buy another plate, but the student kept insisting it. With this constant awarness, Jang somehow accepted his offer.

When the student succeded in giving Jang his piece of offering, he executed himself towards the Cafeteria with it's "flaming double-part hair that was floating as each step was being walked. He made sure that Jang wasn't watching him, and dropped the bad food inside the bin and put empty plastic plate near the exit, on one of the ables. and dropping the dirty food in the trash bin near the exit.

A slight golden trail was behind him, a trail that only Jang and the likes of him could see. With the aura, he was giving away a polite vibe around him, which gave Jang a slight shock. He didn't know that there were people like him anymore, someone that were talking non-sense just for the fun of it.

Outside the Cafeteria and near an exit from the high school, at the smoking spot, the student looked carefuly making sure that no one was around.

He ranged a number and  waited for someone to pick up.

"You were right, he really is a Star User, what should I do, Mr.Peng , I felt it when I looked into his eyes"

"Don't do anything, just continue inspecting him, you will get your time in the tournament, patience my client, patience"

The mysterious man from the other side of the line hanged up the phone.

He took a piece of paper his hoodie's sleeve and made a small paper figurine out of it that looked just like Jang.

While playing with it, the boy started whispering something to himself

"The trials are yet to come, Jang, soon enough"

The summer break was approaching, it was just right around the corner and with this, Jang studied as hard as he could for these last exams.

Birds were flying in unison, everyone gathering with their own family, crowds of birds, wind was blown, but a cold-ish breeze, the sun was warming the waters and the ground of the earth, preparing for the summer.
Words were talked at the school, ships were made between the students, birds were flying in unison, a few cold-ish morning breezes, the sun warming up the earth as the coming of the summer, and that is how a week passed by.

At the end of the next week, on Sunday, the grades were proceeded on a two meter wall right outside the school.
As he was walking away, Jang kept checking his messages on the phone, still waiting for a reply from Soso in which he asked her if she want to hang out, but with no hopes, Jang put it back in his pocket.

Heading home, a light voice called his name from behind the posters with the grades posted on them. It was Hyoy.

For some reason, Jang wanted to ignore her, acting like he didn't see her. When he looked back to see if she was still on his trail, he turned around and  a likeable face appeared in front of him.

"Jong, you're here"
Said Hyoy with an energetic and joyful voice, while having a short breath.

"I'm good (checks chin sharpness with his fingers)... (looks back at her)  you?"

"I am really happy, if you can see (chuckles softly), what grade did you get?"

"Seventy two, it should have been more, but It's enough"
Sighted Jang while checking his phone with an unbothered look on his face that lightened up his eyelids that were like two starts of the moon.

"Seventy too, that is really good"
Replied Hyoy with a bright smile, while slowly analyzing Jang's face, thinking why he is so upset.

"Why so upset? I think you could go for a good bubble tea"
Said Hyoy with a pair of cherring eyes and a slightly hidden smile.

"I don't want to take time out of your free time, I know that you use most of your time studying so you can't really hang out with your friends"

Or is that an excuse for doing something fun with someone else
Thought Jang to himself

"Whaaat (chuckles nervously) are you talking about, I want to use my free time to be-... to go to the bubble tea shop now and I wanted to call you too, since you were alone here a-and all..."

Jang sighted softly, looked down and put his palm on the back of his neck, while telling her that he will come, if it doesn't bother her.

As they walked to the Bubble tea shop, Hyoy gazed down at Jang's right arm, she moved her fingers a few centimeres but aborted the mission though and changed her sight in front of her.

*At the shop*

Jang raised his sight at the prices tab, while checking the flavor tab near it.

"Don't worry about the prices, I'll get you this one, you don't have to worry"

"(Slow voice) Stop acting, I can handle myself (chuckles nervously) you don't have to, I was just looking at what I should order"

Jang put his hand on his face, as he was meditating about something, rubbing his eyes with his fingers, then continued his sentence with a positive act towards Hyoy.

"I can't talk you out of this, right?"

"Look at you, already regained your courage from before"

Hyoy gently smirked at him and then ordered one banana flavour and one with black flour and caramel.

The ordering was quite fast, only thirty seconds or so. In the meantime Jang kept checking the ingredients of the white board, from up top, Hyoy did it too.

After getting his drink, Jang slowly reached for the way out of the shop, but Hyoy stopped him, gently putting her palm on his meaty shoulder, asking him if he doesn't want to drink it here.

"We can do that too"
Replied Jang, with a widening of her eyes.

Jang looked confused at the plastic lid of the drink, asking Hyoy what was it for. Hyoy told him that it's for protection from spillage and so on.

Jang scratched the plastic surface with the thick plastic straw, trying to find the place where the straw should enter. One he tried pushing it hard and slowly, then he just tapped it quickly everywhere and going into circles too.
Hyoy giggled, close to a laugh.

"What is so... ( chuckled) funny about an incapable high school student?"
Jang tried to hold back a chuckle, while looking at Hyoy and then at the drink.

"Look here, stop fooing- (chuckles nervously)...fooling around, check it, you take your (glances at him), really for no reason, thick straw and you (pokes the thin plastic protection with straw) *poke* it really hard and wabang!"
On Hyoy's orders, Jang tried the same way, with the same word she used.

He poked the thin cardboard protection from the top of  bubble tea, but the interior of the cup somehow exploded on Jang's clothes, doing a mess all over the floor, his hoodie and pants with tea and bubbles made out of gummy.

With this, Hyoy had the laugh of her life, tears were coming out of his eyes, the best kind of laugh.

"Stop laughing, you wouldn't like if you would smell of bananas the rest of the day, right?"
Said Jang, showcasing his messed up hoodie to her, while jokingly holding back a smirk.

"I am so, so sorry, I do not want to smell of gummy and bananas (she turned her head left and right quickly a few times and continued laughing even harder now)"

After a whole minute, while Jang cleaned himself with a few tissues, Hyoy stopped laughing, gently wiping the tears of off her eyes with the edge of her finger.

Meanwhile, the back of his hands, the tatooed stars lit up with the fading color of orange.

After Jang saw it, he quickly put both of his hands in his hoodies pockets, for Hyoy to not see them.

"Listen, my mother texted me, she needs help with something in the attic, see you soon, alright?"

"O-Okay... see you on mon--.."

The moment Hyoy wanted to finish her sentence, Jang had already left.

"Day..."

Jang didn't knew why his hands lit up with the color orange. It was Sunday, and he and In-Su were meeting only on mondays, but maybe it's an urgency.

"The Dimes are here again, Jang"
Said In-Su with a touch of heart that he had to bother Jang in his moment.

"The Di-"
With this one question, Jang quickly searched for his the cloth bag that he put the empty soda bottle of Yuha's, but it already had a bitten whole on it

"What is it that you are searching for, that is more important than this hurry?"

"Nothing, teacher, sorry, nothing"

"Be careful about these Dimes, they are different from the ones before, they are spirits that posses human forms, trying to inhabitade them, in other words (focuses eyes), to take over the body"

In-Su gave Jang five scrolls that were encrypted on their edges with a fine hardwood locked edges.

"What are these?"

"The moment you see the Dime infested human, you just open (opens scroll in front of his face and quickly closes it up), the scroll, read what's inside it, and done"

In-Su slammed his stick to the hard concrete ground from the Altar, and the light portal had opened again. Jang quickly ran inside it with the scrolls held tight to the place around his waist with a few strings on each of them, making them float around aggresively with each step taken.

"I just hope that Hyoy or the others don't find me"
Whispered Jang to himself

The white trail leaded Jang into a restaurant, a pizzeria. Joking around, he thought that the Dime thought that he might be hungry.

Chilling down on a seat, at a table, tapping the top of the ground with his feet, out of boredom, Jang felt     something unusual. He felt like the ground under him was empty. By his general culture knowledge, Jang knew that in there should be a pair of metal pipes.

"Shouldn't there be, pipes?"

A sound came from underground, it was like a water leaking, Jang kneeled down on the floor, putting his ear closer to the ground.

A huge line of iron pipes erected from the ground, breaking the tiles of the floor and damaging the ceiling, with pieces of hard and sharp concrete falling down on the panicked spectators.

Everyone that was inside the restaurant was raging with fear and panick. Seats were dropping on the ground from the quick pace of the clients leaving in a matter of seconds.

The pipes attacked Jang, directly targeting him by trying to poke him with it's hard surface but the boy continuously tumbled on the left, then to the right, then backing up, dodging everything in his way.

The spirit succeded in landing a blow on Jang, hitting right in it's chest that caused him to be pushed mid-air all the way into the entrance door of the restaurant, flying a second after and getting tumbled into the concrete path mixed with dirt surroundings.

He was lying down on the ground, his body was on cooldown, just like his bones were hurting by the passing moment from the brute force of the Dime's hit. Holding his stomach firmly with both of his hands, while letting out unwilling saliva out of his mouth, he grunted in pain.

The line of pipes prepared an attack again, while Jang told them that at least they are not rusty. His commentary angered the Dime more, attacking even faster now.

While the pipes were attacking inside, Jang threw a spirit orb inside one of the pipes, but nothing happened.

It approached him faster and faster, making Jang count every second of it and the timing on the pipe's movement.

Jang dodged the direct hit of the long pipe in the last minute, throwing the sphere into the air, hoping that the thin metallic pipe would jump right into it. Luckily, it did (wow)

The Dime exploded pipe by pipe, just like a show of fireworks, afterwards, it faded into thin stardust.

Jang was breathing slowly, his throat was dry and irritated, his breath was shallow, but he to find the more dangerous Dime users, not this side quest of his, is what he thought to himself.

Jang Ho always helped everyone in need, even if he was wasting his time, being late to classes or just helping an old lady cross the street.
One night when he went to do some cardio outside, he saw something really bright in the sky coming directly towards him, it was a STAR, big as a planet. In a blink moment, the star crushed him, falling right on him, creating a big crater.
That night, Jang Ho became someone else... or something else.
