"When you say connected what exactly does that mean?"

"In the process of creating your pseudo blessed core I had to connect it to your current blessed core through an Edirem tether."

"Why'd you do that though?"

I was hoping for an explanation since the main point of creating this pseudo core was to create a separate Edirem housing unit. So if this connection between the two cores interfered with that it would void the purpose of what we just did.

"Well, I was going to form a separate pseudo core near your blessed core but, I was interrupted"

While I was bewildered, and slightly agitated I held it in and continued to try to get a grasp at what happened

"Interrupted by what?"

As soon as I asked the question I heard the all so familiar voice In my head.

'[I interrupted the process, when Zinnias entered your body your consciences became linked which allowed me to communicate with them]'

"As Vee said she was the one that interrupted the process."

'Vee why did...'

Wait a minute

"Zinnias you can still hear Vee right now even though you are no longer in my body."

"Well we are now connected in life and death literally, I had to use the Edirem I personally create to form your pseudo core as well as Pseudo Edirem pathways that connect to your core, since we couldn't use the same one connected to you blessed core."

So that's why my veins started to throb, it must've been the formation of the Pseudo pathways.

While I was intrigued to learn more about this connection I still need some answer.

'Vee why did you interrupt the process.'

'[The reason is actually very simple, your young body can't handle having two cores that hold Edirem, to get straight to the point you would die the moment the Pseudo core reached capacity due to how saturated your body would be.]'

'Hmm, okay but could my body handle it in the future.'

'[Yes, if I had to make an estimate I would say in 20 years you should be able to handle having 2 Edirem housing units.]'

'Damn I should of waited then.'

"Um, if I could intrude on your conversation if you waited a pseudo core wouldn't of been possible."

When Zinnias mentioned this my head shot up and I grabbed them.

"What do you mean."

"From what I could tell your inactive blessed core takes in Edirem to become active in the early years of a humans life."

I already knew this from when Vee gave me information on Edirem 5 months ago so I just shook my head in agreement.

"Well while taking in Edirem your blessed core also grows in size, actually even while I was forming the pseudo core your blessed core was growing ever so slightly."

"If you waited until your body was ready you would be 22 by Vee estimates, the problem with that is your blessed core along with your original blessed core pathways would of been to large to add anything else."

This news reassured me that I made the right decision but it still didn't help the situation if my two cores would now work as one, dejected my head sank.

"Now though your blessed core and Pseudo core can grown in harmony and once your body reaches maturity I should be able to remove the Edirem tether."

At the mention of this my head shot up once again, and my grip on Zinnias tightened.

"If you remove the tether will the two cores be separate entities"

"They should, since the connection was only temporary, you should thank Vee though I wouldn't have thought of doing it this way if not for her."

With this most of my worries were taken care of so I felt full of vigor

'Thanks Vee, you really are the best.'

'[Of course I am.]'

Because I was thankful to Vee as well as satisfied with the situation I let the snide remark slide.

"Wait, but while my cores are tethered can I still use the Edirem in my second core as a source for magic?"

"Yes, that's where our new found connection comes in handy, if you want to use Edirem as a source to control elements than I will personally enter your pseudo core to pull the Edirem towards it"

"But until the cores separate you will have to voice the properties you want the Edirem to take in our language."

Wait that sounds like..

'[Yes you will have to say incantation out loud]'

Ah incantations, while they seem cool in novel and other forms of media they are anything but.

Plus in this world at least when I wrote the story nobody said ability name's out loud since most of their ability where techniques they trained and didn't have to visualize them.

This would mean anytime I'm in combat and need to use Edirem as a source for magic I'd look strange.

"Ahhh!"

The thought alone caused me to squirm and roll on the ground in embarrassment.

After squirming and rolling for at least 10 mins I had to get back to the discussion.

"Can you explain more about this connection we now have?"

"Sure, as I mentioned the Edirem I produce personally helped form your pseudo core and pathways."

"Since Edirem is apart of very being when I formed everything it caused our existences to connect."

I was taken back by the whole "Existence" connection but I let them continue.

"Since our existences are connected I'll die when your die and vice versa, on top of that our conscience are connected so I could talk to you telepathically if you'd like."

"No unless there are people around lets talk out loud."

If I had one more voice in my head at all times I would probably go crazy.

"That does seem wise, since most people won't be able to see me it would make you seem like a crazy person thats talking to themselves."

Zinnias slightly chuckled after saying this as if they found the thought of people looking at me as if I was delusional was funny.

"Hmm, how long do your kind live normally?"

"We don't really die, but don't misunderstand you aren't immortal or anything , I say we don't really die but it's really more of a perpetual rebirth, since we don't have genders we don't reproduce so this is how we keep our species from going extinct."

"So if I die, you'll die but be reborn immediately after, but if you die I will die even though you will be reborn?"

"Yes, for the most part but you do get some benefits your lifespan will be longer than most humans currently with one exception"

"Let me guess Raul Lin."

"Yes, I'm guessing Vee told you about the specifics of manger of life."

"Yeah."

Vee didn't have to tell me I wrote about it, the Manager of life gives the ability control over all life throughout the sky, land, and sea and obviously this meant they could control their own life.

This meant the could essentially live forever, yet Tristan lang dies after raising a predecessor.

Vee filled me in on why this happened essentially Tristen lang got tired of living after watching all his friends and family die and using his ability passed on his blessed core to his disciple Raul Lin, which lead to his death.

Wait...

'Vee..'

'[I have filtered all your thoughts that pertain to you creating this world from Zinnias so you won't end up breaking the contract.]'

'Phew, your a savior.'

"Anyways, Zinnias I look forward to this partnership."

"As do I."

Zinnias showed a large cute smile, that made me question whether or nor their species really had no gender.
