It's a headcanon of mine that Celebrian has a magical sort of power to make Cherry and Peach blossoms grow (similar in concept to her mother Galadriel with the mallorn trees). Trees of this nature can bloom and/or produce fruitful bounty year round wherever she happens to live :> And fun fact: When she departs from middle earth... the peach and cherry blossom gardens she tended to in Rivendell not only did not bloom or produce bounty year round afterwards, but upon her capture and consequent torture, they did not blossom at all for many, many of the following years :')

Elrond never could bear to remove them, though. Elrond, their children, and her friends in Rivendell all hope with all their hearts that when, a century or so later, the trees in her gardens started blossoming again, that it meant that her soul and heart were finally healing... But you'll probably have to wait till the very end of this lil' comic to find out if that was an accurate hope on their part :')
