A week later, Beep-beep, Lyra hits the alarm clock to turn it off. She walks out of her room, walks to the bathroom, starts to think about Wesley while she’s brushing her teeth, “He’s so perfect, I think I’m in love he’s so, so, he’s so”, Lyra says, “Lyra breakfast is ready”, Her mom shouts. “Uhhh, yeah, mom I’m coming now. “Good morning, Mom, thanks for the breakfast mom. Hey mom what do you do at your job?” Lyra asks her mom with a curious smile on her face.  “Lyra I’m a retail sales associate at Productive shop “, Lyra mom replied while laughing. “Ok sweetie, are you ready to go to work now”, Lyra mom asks her. “Yes mom, I am, I’ll go grab my purple and white striped backpack for work. Lyra stated, “Ok sweetie I will be in the car”, Her mom shouted before closing the front door, “Ok mom I’m coming now”. Lyra shouts halfway down the stairs. Lyra grabs her shirt out of the dryer and finds it shrunk and sighs while holding up the shirt, then she quickly puts it on and her nice purple adidas and shuts the front door and locks it. “Did you sleep well Lyra”, Her mom asked while being worried, “Yes mom, I did you don’t have to worry about me ok”. Lyra stated, her mom pulls up at Jamaica Be Irie, “Ok sweetie bye have a nice day, I love you”. Lyra’s mom says, “Love you too, mom bye”, Lyra says back after closing the car door.  Lyra walks into the restaurant, puts on her work clothes, and sees Lucia. “Hi Lucia, how is your day going?” Lyra asks. “It’s going well, and Noah dropped me off today”, Lucia stated with excitement. “Oh, really I’m happy for you Lucia,” Lyra says while smiling. Lucia hugs her, and then notices her shirt. “Hey lyra what happened to your shirt?” Lucia asks with a curious tone and a concerned look. “Oh, I washed it alone and put too much tide, so it shrunk after coming out of the dryer”, Lyra says and smiles. “We have customers”, Lyra says while smiling. “Hi how can I help?” Lyra asked them, hi, I need a private room for two please”, The guy says, “Ok right this way please”, Lyra stated, they walk through the hallway and Lyra shows them their private room. “Ok How’s this?” She asks, “It’s good it even have a diamond chandelier”. The guy stated, “Ok would you like any specific drink”, Lyra asks them, “Could we have some martinis please?” The guy asks, “Yes sir, I will bring your drinks in no time”, Lyra says in a nice tone with a smile on her face. Lyra walks out and closes the door to the private room and walks to the bar that has tons of people sitting in and lots of wine and a stand with silver and green fabric. “Hi, Could I get two martinis’ please?” Lyra asks the bartender with a nice tone, “Here you go ma’am”, the bartender says politely, “Thank you sir”, Lyra replied with a nice tone.  “Hey Lyra, could you go and serve the CEO please”, Manager says, “Ok ma’am”, Lyra says, Lyra walks to Wesley table breath heavy, and shaking out of nervousness, and arrives at the table. “Hi Sir, what would you like to order. “Hello Lyra, could I” have some quinoa, and a beef patty, no make that an oxtail or maybe curry goat”. “Wesley says while teasing her, Lyra rolls her eyes while smiling, trying to hold in her laugh, “I’ll take the quinoa and beef patty please”. Wesley says while laughing, Lyra writes his order, and walks away, “Lyra wait, are you ok?” Wesley asks her in a concerned tone and look, “Huh, why, why, why would you ask that?” Lyra asks, “Just curious”, Wesley asks her while whispering and with a nice tone. “Oh that, yeah I’m fine now thanks for asking sir, I’ll be back with your beef patty, and quinoa”, Lyra says while smiling and looking sad at the same time. Lyra walks away from the table into the hallway shows Bob Marley picture, trying not to cry, she goes to take someone else order. “Hi, May I take your order please”, Lyra says while smiling, and holding back tears, “Yes we would like to order your quinoa and curry goat meal we will share it”, Guy says, “Ok, what would you like to drink “, Lyra asks them, “Yes ma’am I would like to drink some coconut water please and honey what would you like?” Guy asks his wife, “I would like a lemonade please”. The lady asks her, “Ok ma’am and sir, I will be back with your lemonade, and coconut water sir”, Lyra says to the couple while smiling, Lyra walking through the hallway, and enter the kitchens, and brings the couple’s food and drinks to their table. “Here you are ma’am, and here you sir”, Lyra says while smiling. “Hey Lyra, can you lock up for me please, Noah’s coming to take me out”, Lucia asks her while pleading with a smile.  “Yes, I can Lucia enjoy your date”, Lyra says with a nice tone. “Thank you, Lyra,”, Lucia says and then walks out the door. Lyra starts cleaning the dishes, then wipes off all the tables, then sweeps the whole floor. While Lyra sweep Wesley notices she is still working and it’s 10:30 est. Lyra finishes cleaning and sees Wesley. “Hey Wesley, I was just about to lock up the restaurant”. Lyra says to Wesley, “Oh right, sorry”. They leave the restaurant and Lyra locks it up. Then she tries to hail a taxi while Wesley waits for her to get a ride with her, just to make sure she gets home says. Lyra can’t hail a taxi because there isn’t any. “I could drive home if you want”, Wesley says.
