A bustling city,a busy road, Raina, a college student, was walking down a footpath ,reading her favourite novel, “The Heroes” on her phone. It was a novel about the land of heroes, where everyone had a certain power. Unlike the usual stories of a Prince or a knight in charming armor saving a princess or a poor girl, here, it was the girl who saved the kingdom from it’s demise,falling in love with the crown prince in the process. 

She kept her phone back in her pocket,feeling satisfied by the happy ending of the story as she crossed the road upon the traffic light turning red. She even thought about what food she’ll have for dinner: chicken. 

A fast moving car bolted towards her while she was occupied with her thoughts about dinner. She looked towards the car as she finally realised it’s presence but, it was already too late,for the car collided into her just a second later, making her gradually unconscious as the people gathered around her.
