It was a relief to return home, exhausted and craving sleep. I hurried through a quick shower, my bed seemingly calling out to me, beckoning with promises of sweet rest. But just as I succumbed to the embrace of slumber, my tranquility was shattered by a series of moans that jolted me awake.

Soft voices murmured, their tones filled with a blend of secrecy and excitement. "What if your roommate hears us?" came a cautious whisper, met by a husky reply, "Don't worry, they're probably already asleep." The sound of shuffling, moaning, and a sudden door closure echoed through the room, pulling me from drowsiness into a mix of surprise and escalating frustration.

Fuming, I attempted to return to my interrupted sleep, only for the noise to become louder. I pressed my pillow against my ears in a futile attempt to block out the moans, my patience waning with each passing moment.

"Geez you look like hell!" Maria chuckled, sipping her coffee, and noticing my worn-out appearance.

"Thanks, I aim to please," I retorted with a fake smile, shooting Maria a playful glare as she pointed out the obvious.

"Why do you look like that?" Rae inquired, concern flickering across her expression.

I looked at her in disbelief"geez couldn't you have worded that a little better?

"I didn't get any sleep last night thanks to my roommate whom I haven't even met yet," I grumbled, my irritation palpable.

"What happened?" they both chimed in, curiosity piqued.

"They brought someone over and decided to turn our dorm into a love den and f***ed like rabbits for hours," I responded, my annoyance evident in my tone.

Maria's response was unexpected. "Wow, that's some stamina! Hook a sister up," she said in a serious tone.

Both Rae and I turned to her in disbelief.

She responded, "What a girl can't have needs," she said in a defensive tone.

I sighed, glancing at the time. "I've got to go to class. Catch you guys later."

"Later!" they echoed, I quickly went to class.
