Ophelia smirked as she hid behind her father’s legs,knowing the scene she’s trying to recreate will happen and she’ll successfully avoid him.

“You’re the Fyr’s heir assume?” The duke smiled,looking at the 10 year old boy. The boy nodded.

“I want to talk to her” He said,pointing at Ophelia.

“Sure thing” The duke replied as he stepped away,not standing in between Leo and Ophelia. Ophelia felt betrayed. Did her father not love her enough to be overprotective to her?

“Don’t you love your daughter?” She asked her father,her expression was one of disappointment and betrayal.

“Of course I love you,you’re my daughter” The duke chuckled as he patted Ophelia’s head. “You should at least socialize and make friends with the other large duchies kids, that's how we maintain peace” Her father softly explained.

Ophelia pouted,how could her father do that to her? Maybe it lies in the fact that they’re just elementary school kids.

“Don’t sulk now,go socialize. Don’t be rude to people” Her father said as he patted her head one last time before leaving.

Ophelia reluctantly went to converse with Leo as Leo smirked superiorly.

Seeing that the duke went back to his talk with the other nobles,Ophelia walked right past Leo,not giving him even a glance.

This infuriated the kid who,in his life,has only been treated with respect.

“Hey!Your father just told you to converse with me! Why’re you walking away you tramp!” He cursed. As a 10 year old kid,that was the highest and only curse word he knew.

“My father said to converse with the large duchy’s kids. He didn’t mention which one” She retorted back,picking up a glass of juice from the tray the servant lowered for Ophelia in order to take the glass.

The blood red eyes of the boy glared at Ophelia,How dare a kid,how dare a kid who hasn’t even got her powers until now treat him that way?!

“Just you wait! I’ll teach you a lesson!” He said quickening his pace.

“That’s only if you can catch me” Ophelia said,quicking her speed to as she spoke while looking behind at Leo.

Unfortunately for Ophelia,she collided into someone and fell down,spilling her juice all over that person’s dress.
