Franzlie takes her exit and retires to her room. She flopped herself on the bed and fell asleep. Rhory strode himself to her room. A knock on the door wakes her up. Franzlie peeks on her watch as she gets up and unlocked the door.
“Hey, I brought you lunch. I know you are hungry by now. We don’t disturb you earlier, we know you are tired in the morning. Papa said they will be here at eight o’clock in the evening.” Rhory said candidly.
“That would be fine, I still have time to read and sign a few documents” Franzlie answered lazily while stirring her coffee.
“Girl, hello you are going to be engaged and still work in your head? You don’t even bother what your husband will look like? Or perhaps your in-laws? Doesn't it come to your mind that your in-laws perhaps are a two-faced bitch?”
Full of worries in Rhory’s voice. He holds her hands and squeezes it lightly.
“I met my fiancé the day you returned home. Father and I dined at his diner. He looks well, in fact, he looks better than ever. You need not worry about him. However, I have not seen his mother. All I know is that she is hospitalized, which is why our company collaboration with him has been postponed for a while.” She replied in a soft-spoken tone.
"Are you still not used to me? I can maintain my composure for as long as I need to. However, do not test my patience when I am not in the mood. Things will change, and I do not want that to happen. Not in my wildest dreams." Franzlie added her predicament with a grin on her face.
Rhory brushed her hair and smiled at her. "I know you can be scary at times, but you are also too soft for some people who underestimate you. However, I know that is your nature, and how Papa raised you. You are sweet, loving, humorous, and scary all at the same time," he commented candidly.
“It appears that you are all more concerned about this engagement than I am,” Franzlie said with a reckless guffaw.
Rhory's voice cracked as he said, "It's just...we're not used to our sweet, bully girl being engaged. There's so much going on in my head that I can't explain. But you're here, taking it all in stride like it's nothing."
"Rhory, c'est la vie, as they say, is life. You think I don't feel that way, but inside, I'm terrified. However, I don't let it get to me. Not even a shred of worry has derailed my promise to Papa." Franzlie calmly countered Rhory's statement. "You're just hungry. Come here and eat with me," Franzlie ordered him.
Before Rhory can sit beside her the door bangs on the wall and her siblings get in. All of them are shirtless. Franzlie chokes on her coffee seeing her siblings shirtless. Rhory comically booed their sibling.
“We are trying to lighten up your mood, earlier you were emotional yet you were like a fierce lioness when you slammed the table while we talked with Malik. Now, a virgin saint.”
Achlys rolled his eyes, smirking at her. Franzlie is astonished at what her brothers are up to. Achlys, Xanth and Llyr lined up in front of her. She's sweating in nervousness staring at her brothers.
They began to entertain her with spicy yet naughty dances that made her flustered. She's out of words gazing at them, while Rhory whistles and giggles beside her. Xanth and Achlys took her in their midst as they grind their bodies circling her.
Their intermission lasted for five minutes and Franzlie was over the moon at what they accomplished. However, streams down onto her lovely face that her brothers are bothered about her.
“Hey, come on, that was just for fun and we know that you never gave yourself such a privilege to have fun or make yourself out of the box. Work always comes first to you, that's why we agreed to do this for you.”
Llyr comforted and hugged her. He wipes the tears in her eyes. Her sibling gives her a big hug that makes her more emotional.
“Silly girl, why would you cry like a baby on the day of your engagement party? Papa will get mad at us if you look awful later. He will think that we bullied you.”
Achlys uttered to her softly while patting her shoulder. She sobs on him while she’s being hugged by her siblings. Later on she composes herself and smiles at them even in teary eyes.
“I’m awed by all of you that you know how to poke my soft spot. And you guys nailed it for real. I can’t ever ask a family like you guys. And that sensual dance that you guys did was fantastic. Looks like I would offer you guys to work for me at one of the establishments in the East district.”
Franzlie's retorts to her siblings caused them to laugh out loud. Her nervousness was soothed by them. She leaned her head against Llyr's shoulder as they took a few photos.
In the past, we have neglected to capture our moments in photographs. Therefore, I suggest that we take as many photos as we can before you move out of our home. I believe that this will soothe you and make you feel more relaxed and at ease. And please remember that today is your day of rest, so there is to be no work at all. Absolutely none.
Rhory held a selfie stick aloft, capturing every angle of their pose. They looked goofy and wacky in some shots, and serious and fascinating in others. The greatest gift she would like to possess was the time they spent together, doing nothing but enjoying each other's company.
"Very well, you win this time," Franzlie giggled as she told her brothers.
"It is not a crime to be lazy and do nothing at all. Yes, we can take more pictures from here or all over our house!"
An idea suddenly popped into her head.
"I'm going to jump,"
Franzlie added, gazing at the window of her room. She looked back at her brothers with a smirk on her face. Without a word, she sprang to her feet and rushed to the window. She jumped out, and a huge splash of water erupted from the pool below. Her brothers were speechless at her daredevil stunt.
The scenario that she makes is all captured by Rhory and he feels better to see her sister smile like the ray of light.
“That is totally insane and out of this world that our sister isn’t afraid to pull that kind of stunt.”
Xanth comments as he jumps out of the window to dive to the pool as well. Their moments are an unmeasurable delight to all of them. From a far their father is watching them .
