Ophelia followed Leo with a scowl ,she didn’t want to take Leo’s disrespect any further. He can say whatever he wants to her but insulting the pitiful second male lead? That’s straight up crossing the line.

“Hey stop!” She called as she ran towards Leo.

“Leave me alone, lowlife” He retorted,not wanting to deal with anyone just after being humiliated.

“Wait!You can’t just insult Syon and leave like that!Apologize!” She quickened her pace to match Leo’s. As she ran after Leo in the corridor, her hand grazed against one of the decorative vases and fell down.

Leo was about to reply with a taunt but upon hearing the loud voice of something cracking,he turned around. He saw the pale of Ophelia who looked like she had just seen a ghost and a broken vase beside her. He couldn’t imagine as to why she was so scared as he had broken vases in his manner many times and nothing really happened.

Ophelia was shitless scared. The trauma of being an asian kid before transmigrating not only kicked into her instincts but the fact that the vase she broke was one of the favourite vases of her mother,terrified her.

“What happened?” The sweet voice of a beautiful older lady who looked just like Aurelia appeared after she rushed to the site when she heard the loud sound of something breaking,worried that Aurelia might be hurt.

The Agnes duchess looked at the broken vase and then at Ophelia.

“Did you break it?” She asked in a stern tone that contrasted the sweet tone she had earlier. Ophelia couldn’t even nod,she was too terrified. She knew that she had to answer her but she just couldn’t. The past experiences of the bad consequences she faced after breaking something in her home in the life she had before  transmigrating, didn’t let her speak.

“You broke it didn’t you!” Her mother yelled angrily and let out a frustrated huff.

“On top of being useless, you even have no control over your body. You’re 11 now! Learn to see while moving!IT WAS MY FAVORITE VASE AND YOU KNEW THAT!” Her mother raised her voice as Ophelia just looked at the floor, hoping that it’ll be over soon.

“Did you do it on purpose?” She asked,passive aggressively.

“Answer me!OPHELIA!” Her mother yelled,furious now.

“Uh-I broke it” Leo said,getting slightly scared of the duchess.
