Ophelia was taking a walk around Agne's estate. She had a lot of free time now that their mother has totally decided to ignore her. She was having a peaceful walk when she saw a golden loomed mutt puppy being chased by knights.

Ophelia then decided to just pick up the puppy who was running towards her.

“Young lady, that puppy is dirty,you must not touch it” One of the knight who was chasing the puppy spoke.

“It has trespassed into Agnes's territory through a hole in one of the walls. We need to get rid of it, "another one said.

“It’s a harmless puppy,you all are dismissed” Ophelia spoke,she was now used to being the authoritative towards others now.

“But young lady, the duchess might-” the knight spoke.

“I said, you all are dismissed” Ophelia said not wanting to take any further shit from them.

Ophelia took the puppy in her arms and went inside the Agnes’s manor,walking towards her father’s study room.

“Dad, are you busy?” She asked,getting inside the study room.

The duke looked up from the paperwork he was attending too and saw her daughter carrying a dirty puppy.

“Can I keep it?” Ophelia asked.

“You know you can’t Oph. Besides, it must have a mother. You should return it to it’s mother” The duke replied.

“What if it was an orphan?” She asked

“Where did you find it?” The duke asked in return.

Ophelia then told her dad about the story of how she found the mutt.

“You still can’t keep it Oph” He spoke assuming that Ophelia won’t be able to take care of the puppy as she’s just a child

“I’ll tell mom you embezzle some money from her funds” Ophelia casually threatened. She knew almost all of her dad’s secret as she spent most of her time with him.

“You know that that’s to get you new toys and clothes as often as Lia(Aurelia) does” He spoke as he looked at his daughter,amused that she would threaten her own father.

“Pleaseeee?Pretty pleaseeee?” Ophelia made the most adorably expression she could make to make her father agree with her.

The duke looked at her stoically before sighing, “fine” He spoke.

“Thank you!” Ophelia squealed of joy as she hugged the puppy close to her.

“Don’t kiss it before you give it a bath” Her father spoke as he watched his daughter be in her happiest moment with a smile. After all, it’s been a while since Ophelia smiled so happily.
