"And that's basically what led up to this point" Axel says to the rest of the adventurers in the inn. Oliver looks over and mentions how he skipped a large portion of the story and motive for why they left town, but axel doesnt care. His version sounds cooler.
After a long night of well, trying to fall asleep on the rock hard inn beds, the group sets off again. Axel, Oliver, and Katt are off on an adventure. Of which none of them has any idea is.
After what feels like days of walking through flat farmland our party comes across a forest of large trees. As the group walks it feels more and more wrong. Darker and darker the forest gets until the sun is completely blocked out, other than one small clearing. With some squelches of boots in the decomposing leaves, Axel peers in with utmost curiosity, as there is a faerie ring that surrounds the whole clearing. And in the middle of the ring, presents itself a large stone. But that was not of interest. What was interesting was that there was a man sitting on the rock, sun beams distorting so bright Axel can't make out the strangers facial features.
Axels curiosity intrigues Oliver, so he peeks in, purple smoke flying into Katt's face. Katt peeks in because he doesn't want to feel left out (he's just the cook.)
But it's a good thing that katt looked in. Oliver only has one eye that's his and Axel doesn't eat enough carrots, so katt is the only one that can make out one determining feature.
Axel Gray is bored. Tiny village and a world crisis going on, he questions his place. But after his village gets attacked, he has a feeling that he might be more capable than he thought.
This is the first thing I’ve made on tapas, sorry if it looks bad
