A course of action to follow to get loyalty from whom, Ba?
On a note about "being treated as an equal". Ba sees equality as "being the same", mentioning Groz doesn't wear clothes or rule a domain. Groz means his wishes* are being respected and fulfilled as if they were Yar's. In this sense...Yar literally treats an animal better than Andrew.
*Said play fight thing, for example - Yar is human but gives Groz a safer way to do this, since the stag is blind and another stag is likely to injure him further.
